Popped in here after seeing an ad on FB and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was super chill. The menu was unique and portion sides quite large. Within our group we had an appetizer sampler (the soul rolls were to die for), a burger (which was shareable) and the ribs (which were huge). I usually don't write reviews, but my experience was so bad, I feel compelled to. my friends and I drove an hour and a half to go there for brunch and it was the worst food I have ever had. Not one thing we ordered was good. The shrimp, the salmon, the Deviled Eggs and the fried chicken were all over cooked. The pasta noodles and the greens were under cooked, and my drink was brought out with stuff floating in it. We also ordered the banana foster French toast and the literally just brought out toast with powdered sugar and banana pieces on top. No caramelized drizzle, no pecans, just plain bread with bananas on top. Our waitress was also not friendly and looked irritated from the time we sat down until the time we left. My first experience here, when they first opened was stellar, and every visit after that. Tonight... Not so much. First, we arrive and it's obviously a party, no problem, took 20-25 minutes for a server to come greet us. Mind you, several walked by the table a few times. The server finally came over to take our order. We ordered the short rib grilled cheese. The food came out and I took a bite into my sandwich and every piece of meat on that part of my sandwich was fat. Not an actual piece of meat in sight. Need I mention the server brought out our food with no condiments of napkins, we had to chase her down to ask for them, as she was twerking on the dance floor. We literally had to remind her of everything we ordered twice. Oh.. she never brought our waters or asked if we wanted water. Oh the guy, who I believe is the manager was also busy throwing back cups of champagne, so he was not a good help either. My kids. I love spending time with my family and by starting my own business it gave me more time at home to spend with them.
