Love the atmosphere. Chipotle bean dip was Devine and their salsa was just as good. I got the enchiladas en mole. Not my kind of mole sauce. I prefer savory and theirs is more on the chocolate bitter side. They also drenched my enchiladas with the mole I couldn't even taste my enchiladas. Food is delicious! Yet service wasn't so great this visit. Older man maybe owner (Jess) was very rude to incoming visitors. He made a comment to women to see if she fits in booth to see if she could sit there. Women did reply back to him if he was calling her fat. I only eat menudo there it's the best you can also get free refills on menudo the only thing is that service can be very bad sometimes they had me waiting for a good while before I got my tortillas

Excellent first time experience! Just recently learned about this gem 2 weeks ago (thanks, Facebook) and good friends mentioned it, didn't have to ask me twice. Totally lived up to expectations. I'm staying with my 5 star rating because I believe today was maybe a bad day for the kitchen. I usually leave here mad because I wasn't able to taste everything on the menu. But today I was let down. Now the service and servers are still outstanding. And if you can find a better cup of coffee out there let me know. Today was just a bad day and we all have them.
