If you are thinking about using Blackistone for your wedding, don't do it. I regret very much ever choosing to go with them after meeting them at a wedding fair. There were several items that we paid for and are showing on our invoice which they did not even deliver. Also, what they did deliver were excluding some of the flowers we agreed to and had different ones which we didn't agree to. To show up on my wedding day and not have any aisle decorations, flowers on our welcome sign, no corsages for the moms/grandma, incorrect arrangements on tables, arch, etc was very upsetting and disappointing. No bride should have to go through that and I never received a response two weeks later asking for a refund for the items which never came. I was told someone would stay the entire time, we paid for labor to move arrangements after the ceremony, and were told someone would take remaining flowers to donate afterwards which none of that happened and someone only quickly dropped off the items. I even responded to the final invoice email just a week before showing what we paid for to make it extra easy for them to remember what to deliver on. I had really high expectations for this place after seeing the reviews on Google, but man was this a hassle. I ordered flowers for a friend to be delivered on Saturday. Got an email saying they were delivered. Checked with friend, nothing. On Tuesday morning I called and they assured me the flowers would be delivered that day, made even better to make up for the mistake. Guess what? No flowers on Tuesday. Wednesday morning I called and again they assured the flowers would be delivered- which finally they were a few hours later, but having considered that I paid for them to be delivered on Saturday... We did everything by text and email. The flowers were amazing and they matched the color scheme I wanted exactly. We ordered decor for our pergola also — which was amazing. My husband and I booked Blackistone Florist for our wedding. From day one, Robert was very good about answering the phone and helping me plan our decorations. I asked for white roses with lots of greenery and touches of blue sprinkled throughout. I checked with him a week before the wedding day to make sure we were on the same page about the flowers and greenery we were using. Robert confirmed that that he had everything available and ready to go. On the day of the wedding, our entire ceremony started late because they forgot to decorate the arch completely and had to be called to come back and do so. The arch was then decorated very sparsley. Robert provided us with totally different greenery than what I had asked and paid for when it came to decorating the tables and arch. There was also not a touch of blue in sight. Additionally, he did not provide my baker with all of the flowers she needed and that he had promised us in order to decorate the cake as planned. When I first met Robert, I was so excited to do business with him. His personality was great, full of energy, and always a joy to meet with. I showed him what I wanted for my wedding and he said he can do it. We agreed on a price for all of the items I wanted. Fast forward to a month before the wedding, I reached out to him to confirm my flowers. We met in person. I printed out an inspiration picture for every item I paid for (including color and style). I also sent an email so they have a digital copy. We arranged for my fiancé to pick up some flowers for the cake and pictures one day before my wedding. When he came, nothing was ready and the lady working there didn't know what we even wanted. It took extra time for him to explain to her all of our prior arrangements, including what color scheme we wanted and what items would to be included for the wedding. They eventually gave him what he asked for. That made him late to our rehearsal because it was so unorganized. If he didn't come pick up some flowers that day, we might not even have flowers for our wedding day because they didn't have any knowledge about the order for flowers the next day. On the wedding day, the flowers were not what I asked for. These are the problems that I experienced:- The boutonnières didn't come with any pins. We had to find safety pins to make it work. Some flowers broke off before we even got to use it.- The colors of the flowers were not what I asked for. I was very clear and emphasized multiple times what my wedding theme was. The colors of the bouquets were what I wanted, but the rest of the flowers were different colors. - The flower arch and flowers for the welcome sign did not have enough flowers on there.- Centerpiece was super small - Robert showed us what it would look like when we met, but what they gave us was smaller.- He told us it would be roses, but they used a lot of other flowers. Every time we came, he would give a sample rose and they would be very luscious and big. The ones they had at my wedding were smaller roses mixed in with a variety of different flowers. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in my flowers. It was over-promised and under-delivered. If Robert was truthful with the expectations, then I wouldn't be as disappointed. I believe they weren't ready for such a big order, so they used whatever they had. I regret sharing his business with all of my friends, because I truly believed he would be able to deliver on his promises. I gave a second star because out of everything, I did love my bouquet. I had such high hopes.... It has taken me 2 months to write this review because I am still so furious. Beside my groom flowers were the most important thing to me on my wedding day. This was my wedding renewal for 29years, so I know what I wanted.My sister used him for her wedding and although they got her color completely wrong the arrangements were pretty. She wanted Champagne color and they gave her peach... Very Disappointing but it worked out for her ---unlike me. We had 3 years to plan my wedding due to covid-19 and other restrictions kept changing the dates. Because we had so much time, I was under the impression that it would come out somewhat how I had envisioned. I showed multiple pictures of the colors, multiple pictures of similar styles I wanted, and showed pictures of all the particular flowers I wanted. I'm not sure another bride was as prepared. I asked for a sample arrangement be made so I could have an idea of the vision they had vs what my expectations were. It was TRAGIC. None of the flowers I wanted at all, none of the colors I wanted at all, I figured since my vision was so unique I needed to give him another chance. We even went to a flower market for professionals to show Ramyar (Robert) what we wanted. We HAND PICKED the flowers, that arrangement came out awesome except the colors. Which we were told were not in bloom, but were guaranteed would be exact on our wedding day but with our colors. Fast forward, 3 tries later.... and now 1 MONTH before the wedding. FREAKING out and $5k deep I had faith he would come through. BIG mistake..... I asked for a full hydrangea walk down, (with pictures so there was no mistakes) I got (10) hydrangea flower arrangements that WE provided the vases for! Imagine a bride seeing that- Now Too Late! I had family style seating (Viking Style) so I specifically requested eucalyptus between our main arrangements. Wasn't there, never showed up. I literally still can't fathom how this was missed. As a bride the last thing you want to do is second guess your vendors, but I seriously should've known better and listened to my gut! My arch was super ugly, looked ridiculously cheap. Total opposite of what I requested and it fell over on my guests three times!! I am super extra and we don't do simple, we don't do basic, we don't do ordinary. I know no wedding is ever perfect and I'm willing to have compromised, but truly for this there is no excuse! I feel like the $9,000.00, 3 years, and stress I endured was a total waste. Awful service. I booked them for my wedding and asked for whites, pinks and yellows with bully balls and camomile. They were supposed to arrive to set up between 11-12. I got a phone call at 12:57 saying "we're arriving at 2 right?" Now their claiming they called to let me know they were on their way, not to confirm the time-either way they were late. When I arrived at the venue I saw that there were only white flowers on the arch. I asked why they were only white and he said "that's what you asked for". He threw some pink and yellow flowers up there and I hated the colors-I wanted pale colors and got bright deep colors. The assistant was rude to my bridesmaid when she asked for them to be taken down. I sent them screenshots of the email conversations about the colors and the time we agreed for arrival and all I'm getting back is-we arrived on a timely manner, we're professional and you got what you asked for. I went to Blackistone Florist for my Mother's birthday and was immediately taken back by how messy the shop was, but decided to trust them anyway with making a bouquet for her. I picked out a few flowers, and the owner went in the back to arrange them. He came out with a bouquet that lacked some of the flowers I picked out. The bouquet was very sloppily put together, something I could have done myself. I was charged $50 which in my opinion was very over priced for something this messy. I called early on the Saturday before my sons Senior Prom. I frantically needed 2 specific colored corsages for my sons best friends. Ordered flowers for a funeral visitation. The flowers never showed up. When contacted, they thought it was the next day.
They said they would make the arrangement bigger and deliver to the church. No one looks at the flowers at the church. So we paid $84 for nothing. The family we sent it for didn't even know we had sent any. So disappointing and we paid money for nothing as far as I am concerned. I also tried to reach out to them through texting, but no one would respond.

You know this is a keeper flower shop when you are there outside, observing the flowers and the ladies working at the backend of the store preparing flowers and the lady (not sure if owner but definitely in charge) comes to you inviting to get in with a long beautiful red rose. I was so surprised of such gesture, that is something they will do a lot in my country and a great way to earn the trust of new customers. The beautiful florist is from Cali, Colombia, like the roses they sell (I learned that Colombian roses have a thicker taller steam) and explained with detail the services and it was such an inviting welcoming experience. The flowers for my daughter's March 26, 2022 wedding were simply spectacular. She married at the Marker Hotel in San Francisco and Blackistone Florist transformed the spaces into a Springtime Delight. The flowers on the mantle above the fireplace were just wonderful. We did not spend a fortune and my daughter did all of the consultation with the team at Blackistone. They arrived the morning of, set up and left only leaving the amazing flowers and fresh spring scents! We went with very traditional flowers and those that were in season. Beautiful flowers but the person who wrapped my flowers for me wasn't wearing a mask and coughed straight into my flowers with her face only inches away. Seriously? COVID is still around and it's basic hygiene even without a pandemic to cough into your elbow or something. Two of my friends just had relatives pass away from COVID. I'm very uncomfortable and the flowers weren't particularly cheap so I expect a basic standard of service that wasn't met.3 stars and not less because the last time I was around the owner(?) gave me a free carnation. I randomly selected this florist from the beautiful photos posted online. The owner was so kind and helpful, he listened to the description of what I had in mind to send and created a stunning arrangement for my parents 64th wedding anniversary. He even sent me a photo of the arrangement before it was delivered and reported that my mom was so happy to receive it. I had the best experience, start to finish, today with Blackistone Florist...I was wanting to order a beautiful bouquet for same day delivery, last minute, for my sister for her birthday. I picked out a beautiful arrangement online from their website and the owner of the company, Robert, answered my call and said that he could take care of my order and that he was out on a delivery and someone would call me back. His very friendly, polite and extremely helpful office manager, Victoria, called me back. It turned out that there were several items in my flower arrangement that were not available in their shop, so while she was explaining to me that she could help me to put together a different arrangement,and helping me out with finding something else that I would like of my choosing, I received a call on the other line from Robert, letting me know that he could fill the order, as I had requested it, that he would go and pick up the additional pieces needed to make the arrangement complete, and he would deliver it to my sister's house within an hour!! (I originally called to place this order around 4:15 in the afternoon)! True to his word, Robert delivered the order within the hour and called me to let me know that there was no one at the house so he wanted to make sure that someone would know to receive the delivery, or if not, was it OK to leave it there...he even texted me a picture of the incredibly beautiful arrangement, left on my sister's doorstep (it looked even better than it had in the picture on their website)!! I am from out of the country and wanted to get my sister-in-law who lives in San Jose, some flowers for her birthday. I emailed some questions and they replied within half an hour. On the day of delivery, they drove all the way to my SIL's place only to find out that she was gone for the weekend. I bought this 250 dollar flower online for my gf because I couldn't be there for her birthday. Judge by yourself, this seriously doesn't look like a 250 dollar item. I wouldn't have bought it had a seen it in person. The design is just so mundane. The flower is not a big bunch either; granted I bought another 120 flower from this place before, and it used twice as many flowers this time. And the card, can you please just use a regular card!! Robert (the owner) was very very nice, polite, helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to give us a sample of flowers he will be using for my bridal bouquet and explained everything in details. He even wrote down everything we talked about and included all we need at A VERY REASONABLE PRICE!!!! he gave us rose petals free as a gift , how nice !!!! I really appreciate him working with our budget and making us feel welcome and happy. I called Blackistone florist to order a bouquet. Robert who helped me was so polite, professional and extremely helpful. He went out of his way to deliver what I wanted . What he delivered was extremely beautiful and tasteful. he delivered right on time, and followed up with a phone call to let me know it was delivred. I had a great time planning the flowers for my wedding with Blackistone! I had a small wedding so I didn’t need much.
Other than my bouquet, my groom had a boutonnière and his mother had a corsage.
My bouquet was gorgeous! I got so many compliments on it. It fit my vision so well. Thank you to Robert and his team for making me such a beautiful bouquet!!
