Bizalion's serves the best sandwiches of the US . Bacon, Eggs and bread cooked so so well that I felt like I was in italy. .... The quality of the food is Majestic. I'm real italian (born and raised in Puglia, Italy) and really picky about food and I was so impressed about the service and the the quality of ingredients!!!! Jean-François the owner is an Expert of food and such a carachter! I really suggest this place for breakfast or lunch!!! More...

Mark Bittman of the NY Times had obviously never had the #6 Baguette at Bizalion's before he wrote his article about the best "ham" sandwich he's ever eaten, which turned out to be in Barcelona. Yes, that's a great sandwich, Mark. I ate it a few weeks ago. But now try the one at this great eatery in Great Barrington, and another "great," a great deal closer to home than Spain! You won't have to go as far, and the sandwich will be even better! RS More...

Had the best pecan pie ever, this afternoon. Dates added an extra dimension to a perfect pie. Not too sweet like all other pecan pie.

I love the pate' and the vats of olive oil, which allows you to chose the one of your liking and bottle it yourself. And of course my favorite sandwich, Brie, avocado, tomato, and mortared de meaux on a baguette.
Yum!
Service is great. I go every chance I get.

There is an arrogance here that is not always productive. But the food is truly special, and the set up is very French. So if you want a taste of Paris in very unparisian Great Barrington, this is uniquely it, and you will not be disappointed. Yes, the high quality does add to the price -this is not Subway- but have you priced a ticket to Charles deGaulle lately? More...

Our "go to" place for lunch with friends and family. Excellent salads, sandwiches, quiche, and soups; also the best baguettes this side of the Atlantic. .. a bit of France in the Berkshires. They stock a beautiful selection of olive oils, mustards, and other European goods, which we often send to people for gifts; always received with rave reviews. If you're visiting town, it's a place you don't want to miss. More...

Great little store for French ingredients like Camargue salt, dried mushrooms, and various little things to remind of your favorite visit to France. Great sandwiches and salads. They take cards, have parking, and both indoor and outdoor seating. They even offer a free postcard which is a nice touch that I always appreciate. More...

One of those perfect places that fills a niche--upscale but worth it for special food. I've been for lunch and wine, cheese/charcuterie, and to buy olive oil for home-made pizza dough. Wine by the glass was pricey, and it might be nice to have a house red and white for lazier, two-glass afternoon meals! More...
