Immediately greeted by colorful decor, it was love at first sight! However, it only got better after seeing all that their menu had to offer! I had a hard time deciding what warm drinks to get, but finally ordered the London Fog and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. A perfect Fog for this tea connoisseur. I originally stopped in just for a drink to warm me up but after I saw all the healthy options on their menu I had to order lunch too! I ordered the sweet potato noodle dish with soy sauce and other toppings. It was packed full of unique flavor and was an incredible portion size as well! Very large! It doesn't look like you can go wrong with anything on their menu and I can't wait to try more items. Not to mention the homemade baked treats! I loved this place! Fast and friendly service. Everyone that worked there smiled and made me feel welcome! My best friend and I love vegan/healthier options and I ordered the breakfast sandwich and she ordered something similar. We thought it was heavily seasoned and couldn't finish it. Not that it was bad, it's real wholesome and good-for-you-food, just not our cup of tea with the flavors. We got a cinnamon bun and chocolate tart after that and they were both out of this world! We came here twice a short vacation! You order at the counter and seat yourself and the line can get backed up. On our first trip here, we got the shrimp polenta and some items premade items from the cold bar. The shrimp polenta was to die for! It was cooked in a delicious, savory, and slightly tomato-y broth. It was so good we nearly licked the bowl clean. The premade items we ordered were just okay; we got the asian noodle dish and chipotle beets. The noodles were rice noodles and because it's a refrigerated item, the noodles were a bit hard. The dish also had huge chunks of ginger! And while I love ginger, I don't enjoy biting into big chunks. The beets were alright - nothing great, but not terrible either. Our next visit, we ordered the smoked salmon bagel and chia seed pudding. The pudding was great - had the nice cocoa flavor that paired well with mangos and strawberries. This is our favorite breakfast place in West Asheville---with scrumptious, healthy & innovative breakfast dishes with an international flair. Think breakfast dosas with turmeric scrambled eggs, avocado, chutneys....yam, quinoa, & kale bowl with a perfectly fried egg and cilantro crema on top... etc., etc.... there are a number of more "standard" breakfast dishes as well for those that might like something more traditional.  Literally everything we have ever had there has been exceptional!  Great coffee, juices, & smoothies, too. Gluten free heaven. Stopped in for lunch in between meetings and expected to be joining in a huge rush of people. The place was poppin but the staff did a great job keeping the line moving and keeping everyone happy. I am not a huge fan of ordering at a counter but they did deliver our meal to the table. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Coming from an area with out gluten free places, I had to order a few things. The daily special was lamb meat balls and they were delicious. We tried a few of the baked goods, desert before lunch because who could wait. We ordered a few of their bowls which were all very tasty. The fried chicken was some of the best I've ever had. Having to find gluten free options when dining out can be hard and not always satisfying. So when I heard bimberibon was all gf, I wanted to try it out. From beginning to end we enjoyed our meal. The girl taking our order was so patient and helpful with us as we decided and tried to figure out what our 3 children were going to have. We had the buffalo cauliflower which was great, although the buffalo sauce didn't taste as you'd expect , it was still delicious. Our kids all had the burger which I tried and thought was fantastic. I was really surprised by how great the bun was, for being gluten free. We also had an adobo chicken sandwich which I loved. The plantain "bun" was such a nice twist. The sunshine broth was also amazing and I could see myself trying to mimic that on a cold day. Think rich and creamy bone broth. The chaga chai was sweet but not sickeningly so. For dessert we had the Carmel apple donut ( so good I could have had 3 more! It was light but full of flavor), the cocoa energy ball( chocolatey but not sweet according to my husband who doesn't usually get sweets, and he enjoyed it), and the tiramisu, which my kids declared their new favorite dessert. My wife and I realized while we were in Asheville that we had not ventured out to try BimBeriBon! So, we changed that! When we finally found it (slightly odd location), and went in, we were confused about what would happen next. In most restaurants, someone would greet us, etc. Here we wandered around wondering until someone finally came up to us and explained that we need to place our order st the counter first, then sit and wait for them to bring it to us. Once that was figured out, we ordered (I wish I had noticed the deli sooner, as I would have ordered from there). We got a kale and felafel salad, a cup of ginger and something broth (very tasty), a gyro (with chicken instead of tofu), and tandoori chicken. All in all WAY too much food!! We had a lot to take home. The salad was ok, I'm used to very good home-made fresh from the garden salads, and it was ok. The felafel was tasty and EVERYTHING WAS GLUTENFREE!!! I repeat: EVERYTHING IS GLUTENFREE IN THIS PLACE.So, I truly felt safe. The food didn't have much salt, and tasted a little bland- but nothing a little salt couldn't fix. We vacationed in Asheville with our 2 dogs and found BimBeriBon which became our favorite restaurant. The staff are all extremely friendly, every menu item we’ve ordered has been off the charts amazing, and they’re dog friendly! We love it so much we came twice in 4 days. It’s THAT good. We were looking for a new breakfast place and as we passed the Biscuit Head we saw this cool place form the exterior. Once onside- we were amazed at how friendly and engaging the staff and the amount of healthy options in addition to a bakery full of creative, rustic, and delicious treats. I would give 10 stars if I could! The restaurant itself beautiful with a high ceiling and plenty of light and plants. Entrees are packed with well spiced veggies that fill you up (the tagine and dosa are my favorites) and the buffalo cauliflower was absolutely delicious (would satisfy any chicken wing lover). I was so excited to find a 100% gluten-free place to eat at that's perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Never have I before been able to walk in a place and not have to scour the menu for the handful of options I can order, it was so nice to just order anything I wanted without worry or restriction. There are A LOT of great restaurants in Asheville. However, not all restaurants are completely gluten free and use no refined sugars. BimBeriBon has consistently amazing food across the menu! I was intrigued by the unusual name, and finally stopped in. The menu is filled with so many interesting items I had a hard time choosing. Far beyond just sandwiches. The food was outstanding, and obviously prepared with thoughtfulness and love. I had the dosa which was brilliantly creative with many layers of flavor. I relished every bit of it. My partner had the kale and falafel salad which was a wonderful combination. The kale was tender (too often raw kale is too tough) and the dressing very complex and addictive. We also had the borscht, which was more like a cabbage soup but lots of deep rich flavor, so no complaints. As one reviewer indicated, this is the perfect antidote to overindulgence here in Foodtopia.  At BBB, you get all the creative and exciting flavors and culinary discoveries that characterize the best of the local scene, but unlike most of them, you walk away feeling healthier - and happier - than when you came in.
