What an absolute pleasure to work with Roy and his crew!We had to get our deck re-stained after having it done two years ago and done a) very poorly b) and with the wrong materials. Roy came out to look at it and gave me his honest take of what it was going to take to get it done the right way. Two other vendors I had out just came out and gave me a quote without much detail. Roy went into the ins and outs of what we needed to do to solve the problem.With all of the rain this spring/summer, they were backed up on outdoor jobs. Roy communicated to me very clearly through the process that timeline was getting backed up and he had jobs in front of mine which is understandable. While I was frustrated the job wasn't getting done, I didn't blame Roy because all I can ask for in that situation when conditions are making timeliness unrealistic are communication and honesty and that was what Roy provided. When the time came to do the work, the crew was friendly and quick with the work. The quality is outstanding! The difference between what we have and what we had is easily noticeable, even by people that have visited our house. I picked Bill Schneeberger painters not because they were the cheapest (they also weren't the most expensive) but because of Roy, who provided me the quote. He was professional and personable without being pushy. He explained in great detail how they would prepare the surfaces and what paint choices and colors were trending and what he felt would work best for my LR, DR, Kitchen and powder room plus some detail work on my stairs. His staff was punctual, professional, and clean. Roy also showed up each day to check on the progress. Roy Schneeberger responded promptly to our inquiry, did a thorough on-site inspection, and provided a detailed estimate. He also offered recommendations (for example, replacing window and door casing to coordinate with new kitchen decor), which he quoted as separate options for our consideration without any pressure to accept. We did agree to this work, and it made a huge difference in the wonderful end result. The price quoted was reasonable based on our experience, and they were able to coordinate our schedule with work required and staff availability.We found the workers professional, respectful, and careful of the property they worked with or near to. They worked as a team, finished the project quickly, and each day returned the work area to normal before leaving.We are excited to use them again in the near future for the rest of our house. Reliable, Professional, Results Driven, Great Value - These are the words I would use to describe Bill Schneeberger Painting & Decorating. I started a project ripping old wallpaper on a second floor hallway and stairway and I thought I did a good job but left glue and some paper. I also discovered many seams that were visible Roy came to my home and gave me a fair estimate, and a plan of what would need to be done. I hired them, and they were on time, clean, professional, and did an outstanding job. They went the extra mile to ensure I was happy. Roy was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. The quote he gave us up front, was a fair and most importantly an accurate quote, as the final amount we paid him ended up being exactly what he quoted us up front. Roy's team came in, and right away you could tell these guys were professionals. The way they handled making sure our furniture, and flooring and personal items were protected, and the way they meticulously taped off each item with precise and straight lines. Unlike many other contractors/painters out there, Roy and his team finished the job with 100% accuracy, and efficiency. Even after the job was finished, there were a few places that needed minor "touch ups" (Roy explained in the beginning that this could be the case, as some areas settle in faster than others) and the minute we noticed them, my wife called Roy, he sent someone out the very next day to handle them. Hopefully this review helps someone who is looking for an honest and reliable painting contractor, as we really felt the need to post an outstanding message on behalf of Roy and Bill Scnheeberger for the great job they did! After seeing the work Bill Schneeberger Painting & Decorating did at my sister's new home, I contacted them for our interior painting project. Roy came out within a few days and offered me a fair/competitive quote. Although I had to wait a couple months for an opening on their calendar, it was worth it. Roy and his team were very detailed and meticulate in their patchwork and painting. Roy also offered some suggestions and feedback during my color selection process. Their paints of choice were Benjamin Moore's Regal Select for common areas and Benhamin Moore's Aura for bath.
