My husband and I tasted their barbecue for the first time at an event last year, and we thought it was amazing. My father is from Georgia so we are used to great barbecue, and in my opinion, there isn’t much that would even compare to his. Let me tell you, Big Zeus is the real deal. We had an event that was very last minute and I reached out to them by email. They were overly accommodating with us and even when we had a last-minute change they were able to fit that in as well. I don’t have enough good things to say about this business from the beginning of our conversation to when we picked up the food it was awesome. At our event, everyone had great reviews about the food. I’m a huge macaroni and cheese snob and let me tell you, it was the m on point!! Absolutely the best BBQ in the area! We had the beef brisket sandwich with the Mac and Cheese for lunch. Everything was fresh and tasty. The restaurant is very clean and nicely designed. Zues himself was also very welcoming and showed an interest in his customers. He also brought a sample of his smoked turkey for us to try that was absolutely delicious. Moved to Binghamton a few years ago and wanted to find a good BBQ place. I lived down south in Texas and was hesitant to spend money in a place that didn’t have good BBQ or like the one I was used to eating. But let me tell you I made the right choice to stop here. We went to Big Zues this past weekend and I have to admit we loved it. I'm from Texas but I have lived in N.Y. for the last 8 years and I had gotten tired of people recommending BBQ places to me. They would say this place is great and that place is great but in reality it had no favor and was dry as hell. In my best Virgo vocabulary they were garbage. The sides and meat are all delicious! The mac n cheese is zesty and I love that he has tots and brisket along with the classic bbq chicken. The pulled pork comes lightly dressed in a tangy vinegar based way which surprised me but was really good. Generous portions and service too.
