I have been going to Beverly records for 20 years or more they have a wonderful selection of Oldies But Goodies and replacement needles for turntables and Records and etc etc. It is a wonderful place to go for those who are very nostalgic in music. I hope they never close. More...

Wow... So much going on here. My daughter's been captured by the flawed idea that vinyl's somehow better. Oh well. If you're looking for that and about two hundred thirty million others things. .. All in less than 3000 square feet.... you've discovered heaven! More...

Had a blast at this store. TONS of boxes to dig through. I was overwhelmed by the selection. Not sure I’ve ever seen that many 45’s.

Big shop and a lot of records, really one of the old style big stores, sorted but still a lot of randomness. I only had an hour or so but it was difficult to decide where to start. This is a selling store, not a displaying store. Give yourself enough time for a dig and you will turn up something. The thrill of the vinyl hunt is here and there are bargains to be found, the prices will be reasonable. Didn't seem to be a lot of top condition stuff around but if you play your records rather than look at them you'll be fine. Did I mention the thousands of 45s they have here? Someday I'll be back ... Never knew this was in the area. Great prices and take some time to look for what u want. You'd be surprised with what u find. One record is 5 bucks and anything in a collection is 3 bucks each per record. Definitely worth the trip! More...

This place is my favorite record store in the suburbs. It is a little quirky and stuffed to the gills with records everywhere, yet these people know their business and bend over backwards to help you find that special item you are looking for.

This place is stacked high and wide with albums from all genres and eras. Seriously, I've never seen so many. The downfall is that it can make it hard to find what you are looking for, so make some time to scavenge through but also the staff are more than happy to help so just ask. You can also view what they have online and they will find it for you! Some rare and sought after albums here! More...

Lots of selection, alot of thrashed sleeves and records out of sleeves. and prices very inconsistent. Just bought an album yesterday that had no price tag on it and everything on the floor is 6 dollars unless tagged with a price tag. I get to the counter and hand him my selections. He counts the records off, takes one out, and says 10 dollars out of nowhere. I just went with it because he runs the store and i want to keep a nice reputation there. It really made me mad because the album wasnt even mint condition but its the best condition one ive seen in the wild. worth the ten dollars but they can do better with pricing and not throwing a curve ball at the register More...

This is a great place, and they have a very huge selection. Since going in the first time and thumbing through the racks, I've been hooked. I've found some great records in very good condition. I've yet to come out with just one album. The atmosphere is great. Get your list together and give it a go. You'll get a little dust on you going through the racks (which is the fun part), but you'll find a lot of what you're looking for...and nothing compares to getting home, cleaning the album up and letting it spin. Best place to go in the city in my opinion, and it's located on the south side. The staff is very helpful and friendly too. I'll definitely be there a few times a month. More...

Finger walking through the bins at Beverly Records is a mind trip back to purchasing my first record in the 60s, finding gems like BB King "Live at the Cook County Jail" and putting in a request for Aretha "Live at Filmore.
"
The atmosphere is more High Fidelity than other record stores and it's a cheap date on Saturday because next door at the Stadium Club: Two for One burgers that are massive. Cold beers, waitresses with personalities and hips. A dozen screens with sports and you got a weekend.

If you want to buy all of the singles from your 80-90s youth, one at a time, check out their crazy-catalogued 45's notebook and go hunting for your record of choice. This is the kind of place where they have 10 copies of the Police album you want, but 8 of them are scratched and one is missing a jacket. Good news? The tenth one is GOLD. More...
