Following a healthy, balanced diet helps make sure that our bodies get all the nutrients needed to work well from day to day and can also reduce the risk of diseases like heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and some types of cancer in the longer term. It also helps to reduce "brain fog".

There is no ‘one size fits all’ diet, no magic pill, and it is not just about eating less sugar, salt, or saturated fat. It's about what we should be eating more of, for example fruit and vegetables and fiber. Everyone is different and the principles of healthy eating can be adapted to suit you.

When your body is nurished so is your mind. Which helps with diabetes and all the side effects associated with the disease, helps the mind concentrate and focus better, and also helps with stress levels and lack of energy.

It means everything to me to make a positive difference in peoples lives. To partner with them on their journey to a healthier and more stable lifestyle change is very uplifting. The look on my clients faces and the sound in their voice as they get closer to their goals and then achieve their desired goal. They seem to just light up a room with their smiles and successes.

I’ve walked in other people shoes. I was once over 200 lbs myself and I am type 2 diabetic. I lost 50 lbs, lowered my A1C from 8.2 to 6.2. I feel so much better and have so much more energy. My goal is to eventually reverse my Type 2 diabetes and not have to take metformin any more. I wanted to learn and maintane for myself instead of relying on a "diet or pill". I did holistically and have helped many clients do the same thing. I also was diagnosed with ADHD from childhood and still have ADHD as an adult. I feel that ADHD is one mental issue that is so misunderstood. I am not against medication for ADHD, I take that myself, but ADHD does improve with a healthier life style. And partnering with someone like myself makes a world of difference in learning to manage life with ADHD. If it were easy, people could do it themselves.

Because my approach and programs work differently. One way doesn't work for everyone. Everyone is different. Everyone deserves for feel confident with their lives and bodies. "From the inside out" I am so confident that I can make positive change in my clients lives that I offer a complimentary introductory session so you get a chance to actaully see and feel how my coaching sessions can work for you.

I provide sessions virtually using ZOOM as well as over the phone. If you are in Salem Virginia, I do offer in-person sessions as well.

I offer Zoom virtual sessions as well as phone sessions. Not just for Covid-19 but also as a convenience to my clients.

Low Carb vs Keto

A low carb diet restricts carbs, such as grains, rice, and starchy vegetables, to 10–30% of your overall calorie intake, which may lead to weight loss.

The keto diet restricts carbs to 50 grams or fewer per day. This puts your body in a state of nutritional ketosis, which promotes the use of fat as a primary fuel source.

While both diets limit carbs to varying degrees, the keto diet is more restrictive. For the majority of the population, the low carb diet appears to be more sustainable in the long term.

The low carb and keto diets restrict carbs to yield potential health benefits especially for diabetics.

While both limit carbs to a certain extent, numerous differences set them apart — with carb and fat intakes being the two most significant.

Being a low carb/keto diet Coach, I help clients determine if this lifestyle change is for them.

A weight loss coach, also known as a weight management specialist, is a professional who applies personal coaching techniques to bring about long-term weight loss.


We are not doctors, nutritionists, or athletic trainers, but we can help individuals stick to a recommended regimen by acting as a cheerleader and holding them accountable for making healthier choices. Weight loss coaches work with clients in the health and fitness industry, helping them reach their weight or fitness goals through exercise and meal preparation.

By holding clients accountable and being with them every step of the way through support and encouragement. to reach positive body confidence.
