Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Accounting is far more than keeping track of the past (recording income, expenses, reciavables and payables.) With an effective accounting system in place, and an understanding of what the numbers indicate, a small business is equipped to retain more of the money they earn, while increasing profitability with little to no other changes in how the company operates.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing a business owner experience the relief that comes from not having to do "the boring part" of their business (which many consider to be the bookkeeping aspects) and from knowing that the books are accurate and up-to-date with no ugly messes waiting at the end of the year.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I need to be able to serve my clients with utmost integrity and personal service, and according to my own set of standards.
I also want to work individually with my clients, making it possible for me to add much more value to the services I'm able to provide.
And, like my clients, I just enjoy building my own thing. :)
