So. Im normally a la quinta person. We do a lot of traveling and stay exclusively at Best Western. This place in St. George has been the best one that we have found to have all their bases covered. From the easy access to the freeway to the easy check in to friendly and courteous staff, super clean rooms, new towels,new beds ,new pillows, seems everything is new and very comfortable. The best thing I notice out of all the places is the breakfast. To me that is what really separates the good ones from the Best ones! This place has The Best Breakfast selections that are well above the others. From the chef that makes your omelets to order to chorizo breakfast burritos, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, potatoes, all the cereals, bagels, yogurt, pastries, juices, there are too many item to list. It doesn't really look like these pictures but I really like this hotel. It's a bit older property with a  few connecting buildings and windows that really open.  The beds were a bit lumpy but I slept in the middle of the queen bed. Great shower and coffee. Breakfast was great. Waffles French toast eggs  and eggs w peppers onions biscuits gravy bacon cereal not sure if I saw fruit. I took some bread and made sandwiches for the road. We spent 3 days at the BW Abbey Inn and had a wonderful experience. Check in took about 3 minutes and the staff were fun and efficient. Breakfast was busy, but the waitstaff were busy cleaning tables and refilling the buffet. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job keeping our room clean and stocked. The only recommendation is that a hotel employee occasionally check out the pool...unfortunately not all of the parents tended their children very well...other than that, we had a great vacation and would highly recommend this hotel More...

Again, always a favorite for me!!! They have even improved!! The staff is always so friendly and helpful ... I got upgraded to a king bed  which was so kind and appreciated! ! I drove from a bad rainstorm and got in late and they were so accommodating! I extended my stay by an extra night because of the winter storm! So glad. The breakfast is larger than I remember... but this is always the selling point for me! Eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, potatoes and custom made omelets!!! Yogurt and cereals too! Sooo good! Just stayed here this weekend and we loved it! We went to watch a couple of plays at Tuacahn. When we arrived at Best Western they had deals with Tuacahn which would have been nice to know before our trip to get more of a discount. Every employee we ran into was so friendly and so helpful. They were all so personable even greeting us to breakfast and giving us well wishes as we left. We felt at home. We enjoyed the breakfast with such a big selection but would really like sausage next time. :)  We will definitely be staying here again. More...

We just went on vacation for ten days and on our way back to Ca we stayed here. the whole trip we stayed in Best Westerns and this was the nicest of them all. We made a last min reservation (within a hour of arrival) via the best western site, paid less that $100 total for the night and loved every min of our stay here. The outside was nice and super easy to find. Also, we thought this hotel was in a great location. The staff were very nice and gave us all the info we needed upon arrival. I hate when you have to call the front desk for a WiFi password. Not here. Everything we needed was presented immediately. The rooms were nice, comfy beds, clean, pool area was awesome, breakfast was awesome and all of the staff were great. I really don't think you can go wrong with this hotel. More...

We've stayed at a couple of other places and all have been fabulous, however this one stands above the rest. We stayed in a spacious King size room - soft and comfortable bed, plenty of space to move around, kitchenette with microwave, sink, and small fridge, shower with great water pressure, and both nightstands had plug ins. Also a desk with a comfy office chair and a large chair with an ottoman and side table in the corner. So what makes it stand out? Two things: our room was right above a Pokémon Go stop (pokestop) AND the breakfast was amazing. The guy making custom omelets was more chipper than 1st season Lorelai Gilmore on coffee, the other staff were constantly cleaning and restocking, and there was so. much. food. Bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, grits, French toast, waffles (pancakes with abs), cereal, yogurt, cottage cheese and your choice of fruit, bagels, toast, and so much more! There were plenty of choices for beverages as well.Only a few cons: the room was a little stuffy without the fan on (which we were able to run all night bc I can't sleep without it! Yay), although it could be because a monsoon rolled in, and the hallway was a little stuffy too when we checked in at 3pm. This hotel is the reason we stay at Best Western Pluses!  The staff is excellent--for check in, for restaurant advice and candy bars at 9 pm. The room was clean and well furnished. And the breakfasts--all the positive comments are true!  Fresh, hot food.  Half the days we were there they made omelettes to order.  They have an amazing kitchen staff.  BTW we were impressed that they seem to even have a full kitchen!  So very good and always full.  Quiet comfortable room, great pool and spa with towels at poolside.  DQ Dairy Queen across the parking lot and an easy drive to all of St. George and points beyond.  Positively wonderful! If you think you're going to be roughing it at this place forget it. It's just a wonderful facility with mirrors some chandeliers the air cool. Burgundy carpet. After you step out of the barren landscape which has a beauty of its own you appreciate the beauty of the lobby.Then you appreciate the beauty of the beds which are just great. Everything is clean of course but they notch it up several steps. But I wasn't prepared for the breakfast. The breakfast is like going on a tour to Europe where there's a huge crowd of people from tour buses to come in and you really don't have to eat the rest of the day. There is a bar where you can order omelettes. Any kind. Pancakes grits oatmeal biscuits with gravy a juice bar a coffee bar, yogurt bar both plane and Greek, any kind of egg fixed back in the back, bacon sausage a medley of breakfast meat, cheese all kinds of milk cereal's. Love this place! I was booked at the Wingate by Wyndam to begin with. Upon my check in however, I realized this place was terrible. SO I called the Abbey Inn directly and spoke to Alli. She was very pleasant! I told her I stayed there a month ago and wondered if she would match the price I paid the last time I was there. She said absolutely without hesitation! When I got there I spoke with Sydney and while checking in told her my story and she automatically upgraded me to a Suite no additional charge. My price was 30 % less than every major booking site online! This will be my place to stay every time I come to town from now on! More...

Only 2 things matter...what you stuff under your head and what you stuff in your face.  The pillows here are awesome.  Never underestimate the value of a good pillow!  Comfy beds and CLEAN rooms.  42 inch flat screens and great wifi service.  And A/C that blows a nice arctic breeze.The breakfast buffet is solid!  Great variety.  If you can't find something you like, call the diva police and turn yourself in.  Eggs, waffles, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, french toast, bacon n sausage, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, yada yada yada.  It's hot, it's fresh, it's tasty.  Great way to start the day!The only thing holding back the 5th star is the rickety old plastic lounge chairs at the pool.  Overexposure has rendered them cracked and brittle.  Some slats are missing, others have hardware rattled loose.  The guys went golfing early this morning, and the wives headed to the pool.  We heard about it when we got back, and had to go check it out.  Happy wife, happy life...so GET NEW CHAIRS, PLEASE!  Overall, an excellent value and great consistency in their service.  Whenever we're in town, this is our first choice.  Love the Abbey Inn! Best. Breakfast. I always try to stay at Best Western Plus's if I can for short trips. They consistently have the best service, rooms and breakfast without being too expensive. We stayed here the first time we went to Zion and honestly it was farther away than I expected so the next time we stayed at the Best Western in Hurricane (I think). But they were super friendly at this one and they had fancy water with fruit. They were right next to the cutest town I've ever seen (Dixie). We came the day before Thanksgiving Day so they didn't clean our room until around 6 at night but I think it was just because of the holiday. A guy was checking out in front of me and was going off on the lady. She was polite despite the way he was talking to her. People need to chill out! What does being nasty get you? A discount? I mean really if you can't afford to go on vacation and feel the need to nit pick everything when you chose to go on a vacation on a holiday... don't go! Stay home with grumpiness! More...

After staying at the Abbey Inn in Cedar City, I wanted to give this one a try. Easy check-in and front desk staff were extremely friendly. I acquired a 1st-floor room at the back of the hotel. My room window faced the outdoor pool. My room was clean and had a microwave and apartment size fridge/freezer. It had a coffee maker with coffee, but I refuse to use the coffee if there is no expiration date on it. Goodness knows how long it's been sitting there. The bathroom was modern and in good condition. The towels were freshly washed (had the nice, faint comforting smell of bleach) and there was a soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower. I had two beds that were nicely made and clean. The bed I slept on was soft as were the pillows. There was a large flat screen TV in the room with cable. The cable went out a few times over the two days that I was there but unsure if that was a cable or hotel issue.  No local channels (all out of Salt Lake) but that was fine. There was a nice desk with lamp as a workstation. The shades were blackout so there was no problem with any of the outside light filtering into the room at night. Included was a continental breakfast which included real eggs and several other options. Staff were friendly and cleaned up after folks finished and left. Kudo's to Best Western Plus Abbey Inn for using real plates and utensils. Much more environmentally friendly over using plastic and paper like many places seem to do these days. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a bus stop at the rear of the hotel. Not much of a problem with traffic on the backside of the hotel as it was my preferred entry and exit. The parking lot was well lit and felt safe. Plenty of parking spaces around the hotel. My only concern was the doors were not secured and most anyone could walk into the hotel after hours. Normally anything other than the main door requires the use of a key card to get in. Not the case here. I'd certainly stay here again. With the pool and workout room, this Abbey's has something for everyone. More...

The breakfast is what brings me back to this place. Plenty of hot choices from scrambled eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos and hot cereal (grits and oatmeal) with various add-ins as well as the obligatory self cooked waffles. They have an omelette cook on Saturdays.Cold choices range from fruit, cereal, yogurt, muffins and bagels.Rooms come with small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a decent selection of TV channels.  Beds are comfortable and the room is clean.The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly to the little ones.  I don't stay anywhere else in St. George.
