I used a moving company for the first time and used BQM for my services. I looked them up on Yelp and what stood out was Nick's customer service skills and explanation of everything. Extremely honest and transparent, no hidden costs. They offer boxes and other packing items you can purchase from them, at a way cheaper price than from the stores. Their costs in general were lower than most in the area. Nick and his crew arrived prepared and worked NON STOP, with a positive attitude from start to finish. We needed them for storage also and felt completely comfortable doing so (they can store your things overnight or however long you need.) The following day there was a delay in getting my keys and again, Serge and his crew were professional and positive energies from the entire team (despite the fact that I made them wait over 2 hours, I received 0 attitude from anybody). Just moved this weekend and this was our first time ever using professional movers. We requested a quote via yelp and BQM offered a reasonable rate and a set gas price which made it easy for us to anticipate approximately how much we would spend. TL; DR: moving is stressful, especially if you've accumulated a nice little life's worth of things in your home. After seeing how quick and efficiently the movers handled our boxes and furniture, I realized paying for professional movers was literally worth every penny. Scheduling over the phone was easy and they confirm with a phone call the day before. The day of the movers arrives on time and even called to let us know when they were 30 minutes away. Our home was 90% packed so we quickly went over all the items they'd be loading into the truck and what loose items they could leave for us to finish packing or move ourselves (our move was only 14 miles and there were some things that we didn't get to finish packing)The movers were very quick and efficient, they wrapped and protected our furniture. You would think wrapping would take a lot of time but they were very quick and knocked loading all our stuff much faster than we had anticipated. When we arrived at our new home they laid down a "carpet" to protect our floors and moved everything into the respective room that we requested and garage. We might never have to move again, but I'm glad we hired BQM for this move. More...

I'd recommend these guys.  We hired 3 movers from this company to move all of our stuff from our 3-bedroom house into 2 large PODS containers. They were excellent! Very professional, worked hard and figured out the best arrangement for everything so it fit precisely and safely.  No damage to the house or belongings.  They took 1 hour over the estimated time but it was done so well that we had no complaints.  Very pleased. Very pleased with the job BQM did for me and my wife this morning. Had a 3br house + garage that needed to be loaded to a pair of 16' pods for an out of state move, and Serge and his crew showed up on time in professional attire with professional equipment and did a great job efficiently loading the pods. They were very respectful of our belongings and worked like a team on a mission.Lots of movers in LA are suspect businesses, but these guys are the real deal. They're not the cheapest movers in town, but they're worth the premium. I hired cheap movers before and you end up paying more because they are slow/lazy and make time costing mistakes. I used this mover four different times in the last six months and had a successful experience each time. They were very focused, very quick, and very careful with our items. They also listened and responded as the move progressed up until the final items were moved. I needed them to go to multiple locations a couple of times and that worked well. Jake the lead man for three of the four moves was excellent and really took care to keep things going properly. The rates seemed reasonable and fair.  I will use this mover again without question. These guys absolutely live up to their name! We just moved from California to Idaho and used a moving broker initially ( do yourself a favor and avoid brokers like the plague. ..I will address that situation elsewhere!) The broker, very fortunately, sub contracted with Best Quality Movers. From then on, our experience took a turn for the better. BQM showed up on time, as promised. The first crew we met, Jake and his team, were courteous, professional and very hard working. They packed all of our stuff with great care onto the truck, and  protected all of our furniture securely before putting it all on as well. Supervisor Nick  then took over the project, keeping in frequent communication with us so that we would know what to expect on the other side when our stuff arrived. Just as Nick advised, our belongings arrived the following weekend. This time , Alex and Alex were the team. They were simply amazing! These guys moved all my fragile stuff with the utmost care and handled all my heavy furniture with no problem. When they started unwrapping my glass fronted bookcases, I was able to appreciate the extreme care that Jake and his team had taken in protecting them, ensuring that they survived the move. We used Best Quality Movers this past weekend and we were very happy! The 4 guys we hired were constantly on the move (literally). All 4 movers were very polite and well-mannered. Jackson, the foreman (?), was very personable and communicative, which I appreciated. You never really know how long these things are going to take when you start out. Of course, I had aspirations of getting it done in 4 hours, but it turns out I had way more stuff than I thought it. Whenever I asked for an estimate of how long something would take, he laid out exactly what still had to be done and gave a ballpark of how long it would take. The things that had to be disassembled were reassembled just as they were, even a stupid Ikea bed that we have that has a million pieces. There were a couple small nicks that I noticed on some of the bigger pieces, but I suppose that is unavoidable. Would definitely recommend using these guys! More...
