Martha made my wedding floral dreams come true! We knew she would be awesome after our first few conversations, so we also hired her to do our rehearsal dinner/welcome party arrangements, too. For the rehearsal dinner/welcome party, she took my mother in law's inspiration and perfectly executed. For the wedding, I really wanted floral columns that I had found on Pinterest. Martha loved the idea, supported my creativity, and made them even better than I could have imagined. Our floral garlands, bouquets, and extra arrangements all matched our theme and were stunning. I am not a flowers person, so to say that I had a pre-existing vision of what I wanted my wedding flowers to look like is an exaggeration. We found Martha due to her high online reviews, as well as through a referral from one of our venue's preferred florists (who was herself unavailable). When discussing what we were looking for via e-mail, I provided Martha a singular blog post of someone else's wedding to use as inspiration. She confirmed that she would be able to do it so we signed immediately.Communication lapsed after booking as there wasn't much to to be done in the months leading up to the big day. At a few weeks out, we were starting to get a little nervous until she arranged a call to go over the details. She was very responsive to our special requests and continuously checked in with us to see if there was anything else we'd like to highlight. It seemed that the original inspiration post was sufficient for her to understand our vision so we simply needed to supply our updated counts of guest tables, bouquets, etc.On our wedding day, I was floored by the flowers and arrangements that Martha provided. Everything looked perfect - the pale blush blooms matched our wedding colors exactly and the lush greenery fit right into our romantic wedding theme. My bouquet was full and in the cascading style that I requested. Our sweetheart table was adorned with a beautiful garland and she was able to move our ceremony arch to the reception venue so that we could enjoy those flowers longer.I'm not well-versed in the language of flowers, but Martha was able to create what I didn't even know I wanted! Numerous guests complimented our wedding flowers and we could not be happier with her work. If you are looking for a florist in the Tahoe area, we'd highly recommend that you place your trust in her! If you are having a wedding in Truckee I wouldn't think twice about booking Martha for your wedding. She creates beautiful lush flower arrangements. I told her about our vision and she was able to capture it and beyond. She is very busy, but is great and letting you know when she would be in touch about things. I talked to Martha far in advanced to the wedding about my flowers, and finalized them about two weeks before. She is super creative - we came up with a hanging wreath of candles, greenery and dreamy white flowers above the bridal table, this idea also came into play into the entrance of the dining area, and above the guest book table, so romantic! Martha did our flowers for our July wedding. I knew from the beginning that I wanted a lot of flowers for our wedding day. On my first consultation with Martha she had great ideas and I could feel that she really understood what I wanted.I was able to text her pictures of what I had in mind and also added her in Pinterest so she would see even more of what we had in mind. She was also very honest about certain ideas I had that may not have worked well. She was also very kind as we made changes and additions along the way. Martha is awesome! The final product she provided for our wedding was so beyond beautiful and exactly what I wanted. She totally understood my vision from day 1. We had a little miscommunication the day before our wedding (which was probably my fault) and while I was stressed about it, Martha didn't even bat an eye! She quickly and (what seemed to be) easily adjusted her plan and kept on trucking! Leading up to our wedding she was super easy to work with and always friendly and accommodating. The best part about Martha is that she left me the hell alone! I don't need a florist- or any vendor for that matter- calling me every five minutes and in need of hand holding. Martha is such a talented woman! My husband and I were married at the West Shore Café on June 12th 2015 and we hired Martha to do all our floral arrangements. We couldn't be happier with the results!My husband and I live in Texas but knew we wanted to get married in Lake Tahoe - Martha came as a recommendation from our wedding planners and we are forever grateful to them for introducing us! Martha and I met in person a few months before the wedding when my husband and I were in in Tahoe doing some final planning sessions with our wedding planners and it was such a great meeting. Martha really listened to what I had as a floral vision and stuck to my (not so huge) floral budget! We made all the floral decisions that day and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Martha is a truly talented woman! She did the flowers for our wedding on June 28, 2014 at the Gatekeeper's Museum in Tahoe City. We had a fairly clear idea of what we wanted for our flowers, and Martha executed our vision perfectly! She also had great recommendations and was even able to get peonies at the end of the season -- I desperately wanted peonies to be in the arrangements and she made it happen! Â I never once worried about how our flowers would turn out as Martha is extraordinarily talented. In addition to her talent, Martha is so easy to work with. Her kind, patient demeanor is just what you need when you're planning a wedding. She responded to emails quickly and was always available for meetings when we were in Tahoe, as we were planning a destination wedding. I would highly recommend her to any bride!! Martha is amazingly talented! She did the flowers for my wedding at the end of September 2012 and I could not be happier. She is so flexible, easy to work with, great personality, quickly answers questions, works with your budget ... I could go on and on. I was one of those brides who gave her my colors and an idea of the wedding "feel" and that was it- and she created my dream bouquets and flower details. I saw her once on the wedding day when she delivered the bouquets to the bridal suite and the rest magically appeared. Martha was AMAZING!!! Â She did the flowers for my wedding last summer and I could not have been happier with them! Â She was friendly and professional and had an amazing eye for design. Â She also really got what I wanted, which is saying something considering I sent her about a million pictures of very different flower/bouquet designs and I changed my mind several times! Â She was also incredible on the wedding day, although I didn't see this. Â My niece and a close family friends daughter (both 4) were hanging around watching the setup and my niece was super excited talking about how she's going to be the flower girl. Â I guess this really upset my friend's daughter, who then started crying. Â Martha immediately swooped in and told this sad little girl that she had a very important job for her to do, and then had her help sprinkle flower petals on the tablecloths. Â On a day when I know professionals are SO busy, it is wonderful to see them go out of their way to make a crying 4 year old happy :-) Â I highly recommend Martha to anyone getting married in the Tahoe area!
