Hands down, Benji is the BEST DJ for your child's Bar/Bat Mitzvah.  I'd say he is more like a Master of Ceremonies than DJ.  He kept the party flowing and the kids (and adults) totally entertained the entire time.  There was never a lull or a time when the kids weren't on the dance floor.  The kids particularly loved the games he organized for them. We attended a Bar Mitzvah a week after my daughter's party and their DJ (and party, as a result) paled in comparison.  I realize these parties can be ridiculously expensive but this is not where you want to skimp, believe me. Moreover, Benji is so sweet (and a such a cutie).....just a total pleasure to work with.  I'm sooooo glad we hired Benji and will definitely be booking him again in 2 years for my younger daughter's Bat Mitzvah! Benji was an amazing DJ, and so much more, for our daughter's bat mitzvah. The kids and adults had so much fun that they never wanted to leave the dance floor. He got the party started, and the dance floor was packed until the very last note of the very last song. I had several adult guests come up to me during the night complimenting how well he handled the 70+ kids we had, keeping them entertained and engaged all night long. My daughter felt heard at all of the pre-event meetings and every detail she wanted, Benji was able to incorporate into her night. He was a consummate professional and very easy to work with, listening to every idea and concern and finding solutions and options. I give him the very highest of recommendations. Benji and his team are incredible! Thank you for making my daughter's Bat-Mitzvah so much fun. The kids had a blast and the grownups also got up and danced because everyone was having a great time. The flow, pacing, energy, lighting, and organization from start to finish was professional and beautiful. My daughter and her friends loved the music, the games, and the photo booth. Benji is a pleasure to work with. He is detail oriented and he really listened to what my daughter wanted at her party. Benji is AMAZING! We hired Benji for our daughter's bat mitzvah. Everyone had a blast, most importantly, my moody daughter. She had so much fun. Every time I looked at her she was smiling and laughing.  She was apprehensive about having a party with a DJ. She told me when we got home the night of the party how she had the BEST time ever! All of my friends also commented on how amazing the DJ was. Really, Benji is the BEST! My daughter said she liked that my friends were out on the dance floor too. Benji gets everyone out there. He makes the party what you want. He really cared about making sure my daughter was having a good time-as it was a party for her. He is very easy to work with. Easy to get in touch with, returns emails and calls promptly, is organized, has great ideas and generally just puts everyone at ease. I've already booked him for my son's bar mitzvah next year. Being relatively new to San Diego I was extremely worried about pulling this bar mitzvah party together. Someone recommended Benji and he put me at ease from start to finish. Better yet he managed to make a kids party equally fun for the adults! Everyone commented on how awesome the music was, and that's coming from New Yorkers ;). Dj Benji was amazing!  He was great to work with.  He really helped keep the party on track and kept all ages involved.  We had a lot of activities going on including volleyball, horseshoes, dancing, food, etc- and Benji kept the music going and did not let people get lost, but kept them coming back to the music.  We also used his photo booth services which was also well done.  It was super convenient and the guests had a blast with his props- I think my aunts were fighting over who got to wear the purple wigs all night long.  I also liked getting all the pictures later.  I would highly recommend Benji to make your event special- my sons bar mitzvah was incredible! When you work with Benji, you are not only hiring one of the most engaging and energetic DJ's in SoCal, but you also are hiring someone with great ideas for event execution.  We first used Benji at my oldest daughter's Bat Mitzvah.  We loved his desire to meet with our daughter 1:1 well before the party- as a way to get to know her better and truly understand her vision for a "dream event".  Our first party was such as success, we immediately rebooked him for my second daughter's Bat Mitzvah two years later (which occurred the other night).   Many guests at both events commented that Benji was they best DJ that they have heard. A large event is stressful enough but Benji has a miraculous way to offer calming, reassuring advice for a perfect evening.  He happily worked with all of our vendors to coordinate a flawless evening.  He directed the dance floor location and had great suggestions for the timing of events throughout the evening.  I have seen some very good DJs connect well with teens and others connect better with adults.  Benji has the unique ability to connect extremely well across all age groups...youngsters, teenagers, and adults.  I find this to be a rare but important quality in a DJ which enables him to keep the dance floor packed for an entire evening.  It's also great to work with Benji as a "one stop shop".  For our recent party at an airplane hangar, he provided stage lights, up-lights, projector & screen (for a video montage), along with a customized green screen that complimented the theme of our event perfectly.  The only drawback is that Benji books up well in advance so be sure to lock in your date ASAP. We just celebrated my daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Benji as our DJ. Benji is energetic, thoughtful and fun. He immediately was able to get all of our guests involved in the celebration and is expert at reading the crowd - alternating between dancing and interactive games to keep people involved.  The party was amazing and young and old alike had a blast! Benji was amazing at our son's Bar Mitzvah party.  He took the time to customize the party to fit my son's personality by including games along with the dancing.  He did a fantastic job including every guest, young and old, in the celebration.  Benji's energy was upbeat, positive and fun.  And, he was so easy to work with, from our first meeting through to the end of the party.  With Benji in charge, I was able to just sit back and relax.  I will definitely use him again in the future! First let me say that my daughter has been to many Bar/Bat Mitzvahs over this last year.  She has seen many different DJ's and a lot of the same at each party, so she certainly has an opinion when it comes to who is good and who is not. She attended an event and Benji happened to have been the DJ.  When I picked her up from the party, she stated that Benji was the DJ she wanted for her party!  He was fun, he played the right amount of games and played great music!  She danced the entire night!  I had already been in touch with another popular DJ in our area and had our date booked.  Needless to say, I called and cancelled the other DJ and we booked Benji for DJ services and lighting for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah.  He was very professional and extremely personable!  From our initial meeting you could tell that he really wanted to make sure our daughter was going to have a great time and that he played music that we wanted to hear.  We met twice before the party date - once to get to know my daughter and go over the party plan.  The second meeting we met at the venue to see the party room and create a party timeline. He had great suggestions which really helped me.  He was very easy to work with and communication was great!  We knew having an experienced DJ is what makes a party, and we knew we were in good hands!  The dance floor was packed starting with the Hora and the fun didn't stop until the final song!
