Miami Spice is here and the prefixed lunch menu at Bellmont did not disappoint. We arrived promptly at 12 and the restaurant was empty. Yes! I ordered the pork croquettes, meat paella and the flan. Everything was delicious, with just enough seasoning so it was not over bearing. I washed off my meal with a red sangria that totally hit the spot. The service was very amicable and prompt. As someone who frequently travels to Spain, I can confirm Bellmont has some of the best traditional Spanish food I've ever had. Everything from the food you're ordering to the restaurant design is amazing. I highly reccomend to start off with Gamabas al Ajillo (shrimp with garlic) and Tortilla de patata (Egg and potato cake). Experienced this very nice restaurant for the first time when I visited the Christian Chamber of Commerce. They served a fish plate with shrimp that was quite good. My only complaint was that by the time we got the food it was cold. But still very delicious. I heard that they actually have Spanish flamenco dancers on certain nights.
