Sherri and her amazing team have been taking care of my hair for the past few years and I have never once been disappointed stepping out of this space. The attention to detail in the work is beyond belief, and everything else is icing on the cake. This was my first time ever at Belle Sirene but it certainly will not be my last! My stylist was Hayley and she is seriously the best. I have attachment issues when it comes to my long hair and I never want to cut it, but at last, I knew it was time. I came in with so much breakage and damage but she was patient and understanding and let me know exactly what her plan was. She glossed my hair to get rid of the warmer colors that I despise and then cut it so beautifully (without taking too much off). Let me tell you, my hair looks a hundred million times better than walking in. It feels and looks so much healthier and I can't stop touching my hair! I really liked how quick and efficient she was and has a great personality and was also super easy to talk to. She gave me some great tips on how to maintain my hair and help it grow healthy in the future. I will be back in six weeks for sure!Now let's talk about the salon itself! It's a beautiful space with really lovely people (everyone friendly and welcoming). They offer you a drink when you walk in and they do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. My drink came with a holiday cookie that I was told the salon owner's husband made. I seriously do not have words for how pleased I am with my experience at Belle Sirene Salon! I have the most baby thin hair and finding the right stylist has been an issue. I have gone to lower end and high end places and they always leave my hair looking choppy, flat, and heavy. Totally not the case with Brian! He worked his magic on my hair and I will never go anywhere else again! He literally breathed life into my hair and the movement and body he created is amazing! After a really traumatic bad haircut elsewhere, I decided to go to Belle Sirene for a haircut and style with Reagan. I saw online that he was an expert in naturally wavy hair. He developed a plan to get rid of the severe overtexturizing performed previously on my long natural waves. Never a bad experience here. You feel so welcome with the added benefit of 20% off any product when you check-in on Yelp! As if that's not enough, you can grab a sweet gift from their Christmas tree when you purchase 2 products! They often have promotional discounts too. You cannot go wrong with Belle Siréne! The staff ensures you feel VIP with every visit! Today was no different. Said it before and will say again and again, I love Rachel and Brian, my dynamic duo! As tempting as it is to cut off my long locks, I can't part with my beautiful hair if only so they can continue with their craft! I read the other Yelp reviews and majority of Yelpers agree Belle Siréne is 5 stars. Strangely the negative reviews are Yelpers that have little to no reviews or pics of any kind so I find it questionable. Before I found Belle Sirene, (Carly & Rachel) I was a serial hair dresser hopper. I would bounce from salon to salon, stylist to stylist hoping my hair would turn out the way I had it pictured in my head. I started to give up hope, thinking "maybe my hair is just not that type of hair." I have had so many bad cuts and traumatizing color experiences that I would actually be NERVOUS to sit down in a stylists chair for fear I would walk out hating it. It was NEVER a relaxing or pleasurable experience. UNTIL i found Carly & Rachel. These girls have taken my own hair and turned it into my dream hair (the salon actually uses one of my after pics for this yelp page) Not only have Carly and Rachel turned my hair into hair goals, I look forward to getting my hair done now knowing I am going to walk out looking great every time. What I am getting at is, it is so nice to be able to sit back in your stylists chair and relax and TRUST them. I love love love Hayley at this salon. I am low maintenance when it comes to my hair, meaning I get it colored 2-3 times a year. Hayley is a blending wizard, when my hair grows out it looks beautiful to the point where I never know when I should come back into the salon (the picture attached is about 3 months of grow out)! She is amazing with blondes, sometimes I want white blonde other times sandy, and the color always turns out incredible. Rachel is absolutely amazing! She does such a great job with so much attention to detail. It is so hard to find a great hair dresser to trust with my blonde color. I am very picky and Rachel has gone above and beyond my expectations time and time again. There is no one else in San Diego that I would trust with my hair like I trust Rachel's expertise. The salon is decorated beautifully and has a complementary beverage menu for clients including seasonal coffee and tea options, lemon cucumber infused still and sparkling water, and some happy hour options! Belle Sirène Salon is beautifully decorated. It's a clean and comfortable space. They carry the top lines of products Oribe, Olaplex and others. The salon is super inviting and I have always been offered a beverage as soon as I arrive. Kathleen did an amazing job on my hair color. I have thin hair and I like my hair to be have dimension and be colored more on the light blonde/warm side. Kathleen totally understood what I wanted to achieve for my hair color. I have been seeing Hayley for about a year now and there's no one I trust more with my color. She's taken my blonde from being brass, uneven, sloppy, and dull to beautifully cool toned, dimensional, bright, and absolutely perfect. Its not an easy process to go from dark brunette to beige/cool blonde but Hayley is incredibly attentive and knows exactly how to take your hair there in way that is progressive without being damaging. This is a beautiful and top notch salon. I am so excited that Kathleen is taking appointments here!Kathleen has been the only person to touch my hair for 12+ years and she does an amazing job. When I first came to her I had died my hair black from a box. She was able to slowly lighten my hair without causing damage. She does beautiful natural sun kissed blonde highlights. I recently had her bring me back to a brunette color closer to my natural and I am so happy with the results. She brought it darker using the previous light high lights to add dimension. She is amazing at cuts too. I have had everything from long to short, bangs, no bangs and everything in between. Kathleen was also the stylist for my wedding. She does amazing blow outs, great curls and amazing styles as well.I could go on and on about Kathleen but would be crazy not to give rave reviews about the salon as well. It is a beautiful setting, and all the employees I spoke to while I was there were great. The chairs and washing stations are incredibly comfortable, and I loved all the product they used on my hair. @LONGHAIRSWAGG !! aka Reagan is the BEST! He has been such a game changer for my hair. I have been to quite a few stylists and tend to have a hard time finding someone that gets exactly what I'm looking for so I was soooo happy when I found Reagan. He really listened and spent time getting to know my hair, my style, and what I wanted. We ended up switching from balayage to babylights which was a great move for me and allowed me to go a bit longer between colors (with my hair still looking great!) since it blended out so well with my natural hair. This salon is AMAZING! I recently moved from Scottsdale, AZ and finding a new salon is always scary. I found the salon on Instagram and decided to request an appointment. Shortly after submitting the request Cara reached out to me via email and set up the appointment for me. She was very professional and made sure all my needs were met! I have been seeing Sherri since before she opened the salon and am so thankful her dream and vision has come to life! I am in love with this Belle Sirene! I recently moved to San Diego and have been searching for my new salon. After scanning Instagram I decided this was the place for me and booked an appointment with Reagan for a haircut and balyage (we ended up doing "baby lights"). His attention to detail was incredible and at one point I even said to him "you're treating my hair like a piece of art and I love it!". He was amazing and I will be a client of his as long as I'm living here. The entire experience was wonderful from the time I arrived until I departed. Reagan! IG: longhairswagg Pictures tell a thousand words so just look and then book! Been trying to find a stylist since moving to SD. I'm picky and critical and have a habit for finding flaws, but I seriously couldn't find one after my session. Reagan reviewed my inspo pics and was able to make it BETTER than what I expected (I came in with some botched hair too). I have thick, coarse, asian hair so that's saying a lot! It's on the pricier side, but you're paying for efficiency and quality. The salon is a house full of professionals who are beautiful inside out. I've returned for both haircut (Brian) and highlights (Rachel). As I look around the salon during each visit, I observed how focused they are with their clients. As shown in their photos, the balayage is a staple service that showcase their best work. I am on my 2nd stage and it just keeps getting better. My hair is longer than it's ever been and to hear Rachel comment how healthy it is, well, just made my day.I love that they also carry such awesome product lines, namely Oribe and Davines. This was my sixth hair salon in 18 months since relocating to SoCal from SV, Idaho. I was frustrated at the lack of consistency in my color after each visit - all places. I finally gave up on Lemongrass Hair Salon in Encinitas after not only botching up several of my appointments, but most stylists are part time it seemed and keeping my color consistent was close to impossible. I am also in need of color touch up every three weeks, and a cut every two months. I found Belle Sirene Salon online and reviewed each of the stylists.
