Belle Isle Restaurant & Brewery is located inside 50 Penn Place. Not a lot generally happening in this building as the brewery seems to be the biggest attraction. The main floor is the restaurant, small bar, and deck seating, while upstairs is the actual brewery, bar, pool tables, entertainment stage, pinball, and a massive seating area. Let me just say, the chicken sandwich but FRIED with bacon , cheese & BBQ sauce and it is the BEST chicken sand. I have ever had. We have been here multiple times we like to sit up stairs at the bar with Dave bar tending. He is SO nice and personable. He remembers your name and talks to you like y'all have been friends for years. Super cool dude ! The regulars are super nice too and everyones friends. They make you feel at home ( we just moved here). My husband gets the chicken tenders and loves them too ! & the cheesecake is good ! Do NOT listen to the reviews ... if I had I wouldn't have come to begin with. I can't speak for anything else on the menu but I can for the fried chicken sandwich and it's to die for. This is my “go to” place when people come from out-of-town or from across the street. Good Mexican food, steaks, burgers, American, salads, and brick oven pizza. Prices are about right. Was lookingo forward to the pepperbacon burger and it did not disappoint. Venue was packed due to convert event. Food was a little slow but served hot even though we were upstairs and at the bar.

I go at least once a week, every week to the Belle Isle Brewery. I have found the staff to be like family. Never have I been treated rudely. The staff is always attentive and helpful. The patrons on Tuesday nights are even like family. Bingo with Brennan is a fun and raucous affair. Their burgers are some of the best in town, and their pizza is always great.Their staff has always gone out of their way to make it an enjoyable dining experience. The on tap beers that they brew are fantastic, the IPA is my personal fave. It’s a fun place to hang out, with usually empty pool tables and dart boards. They even have live music on the weekends.
