Our wedding day could not have been any better! We used the courtyard for an outdoor wedding and then the Leclaire Room for our wedding reception. Mercedes made everything run so smoothly. She was wonderful and truly knows what she is doing! She made sure that EVERYTHING was ready to go on that day and was always checking in to make sure if we needed anything. She responds quickly to any questions and handled all of our rentals, and immediately jumped in to help when my maid of honor had water spilt on herself just 10 minutes before the wedding! Everyone at our wedding raved about the location and said it was absolutely gorgeous. And throughout the night, everyone was commenting on how Bella Milano's food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! What’s your signature dish?
While Bella Catering specializes in Italian cuisine, we are happy to accommodate almost any request or idea you may have for your event's menu. Some themes we have entertained in the past include a Mardi Gras theme with Cajun cuisine, a "Zen" event featuring Asian food, a "Sandlot" themed event featuring hot dogs, popcorn, and s'mores, and a tropical themed even featuring pineapple pork kabobs and tangy orange chicken wings. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We love listening to our clients' inspiration and ideas they are eager to see come to fruition. Any off-menu requests our clients may have give our chefs the perfect opportunity to get creative.
What do you love most about your job?
Every gathering we host is a celebration of life and love. Parties bring people together, reunite friends and family, and give everyone a reason to have fun. We try to facilitate that for each and every client we encounter.

We are happy to communicate remotely or meet in person. We definitely like our clients to have everything in writing, so you will find that after any in-person meetings, we will send out emails to recap any information that is covered so that everyone is always on the same page.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
In addition to following all Illinois Health Department requirements, we will also continue to follow the state COVID-19 guidelines that have been set in place for public venues and event spaces. These restrictions include but are not limited to seating no more than 50 people at a time or 50% of a room's capacity, requiring all guests to wear masks when moving about the space, requiring all staff to wear masks at all times and gloves when handling food or drinks, prohibiting drink stations and the use of dance floors. We understand that these restrictions make it difficult to have a celebration, but our guests' safety is our priority, and we are happy to discuss other options and ways to celebrate with these restrictions in mind.

Venue
Bella Catering is the exclusive caterer for two historic venues located in Ewardsville, IL. Our Leclaire Room on Troy Rd. seats up to 280 guests and includes a gorgeouos atrium for your ceremony, gift table, etc., and the beautiful historic ground are just the place for those perfect photos. Our smaller venue located on Main Street is the banquet room at The Mannie Jackson Center - this space is perfect for a more intimate gathering or large shower. Don't forget to ask about conference spaces and built in media amenities such as projection screens and audio for your presentation!
Off-Site Catering
If you already have a venue chosen, Bella Catering is happy to bring our services to you! Call us for your custom quote, and our managers will help you plan your event with ease. We also partner with venues such as WOW Events in Alton, IL and The Main Street Abbey in Columbia, IL.
