I've been a patron here for much of my life. A lot of the visits have been positive, but the visit today may have changed if I will ever go back. Our server was extremely short and rude consistently throughout the visit. Mind you, they were understaffed, but only had 4 taken tables in the entire restaurant (so I'd rule the short staffed issue moot). While the food was good, the server absolutely ruined the visit. I now live out of town, so when we do come back we try to visit places we remember and enjoyed when we lived here. This made the decision of what to do next time easier. There are many other options that will not be short and rude to a retired woman and her family. Feel confident that the food will be good, it may be slow due to the times we're in, but inexcusable conduct by a server may spoil your visit. More...

Service was terrible watched as waitress waiters walk right past us.....then said there was a miss understanding said the hostess didn't tell anyone she had seated us. ...so 30 mins later we finally got service so we thought they gave us a free appetizer lol....by the time we got our food a hour later was tired so got it to go they asked if we wanted Breadstick we said yes we got home and we just get 2 lol 63 dollars spent for some bs food.....I'm telling everyone and I mean everyone who even mentions pastariffac not to support this restaurant because it's garbage!!! I'd definitley recommend this amazing restaurant. I go about once or twice a month.
The food is amazing, particularly the chicken sausage penne and their breadsticks which I feel are the best I've ever had at ANY restaurant.
The breadsticks are the main reason I enjoy going, which saddens me when the wait staff tell me that there is a limit on how many they can bring out, because I could gorge on those things all day. Haha! That's really my only gripe, so to speak. lol.

Just not good. I was invited to go here by a friend who said it was better than the chain restaurant and it was so not. Service was lackluster and the place was just dirty. We had to wait for almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the hostess stand so we could be seated. I got the sweet tea to drink after a few refills it had a terrible taste. I cant believe there were 3 breadsticks brought out for us and there were 2 of us.... awkward. not even wrapped in a towel or nothing just some limp sticks on a plate. We got the oil dipping sauce that is basically an italian dressing. Not a high end oil dipping sauce. YUK. I also ordered some alfredo to dip the sticks in and it was just gross, thick, not at all good. Should have never had to pay $3.50 for it since I had a breadstick and a half. Our waiter couldnt be bothered to bring out anymore. After my meal and that sweet tea I went home and projectile vomited.... it was just so so so bad. I tried to eat more local during a pandemic but this is why I shouldnt! I will never ever be back and I am unsure how this place has such good reviews. Odd for an italian restaurant to be playing hard rock music too.... not at all my vibe. More...

We had a 715 reservation, arrived right on time, still waited 30 minutes while a handful of other groups/couples came in after us and were seated.
When finally seated they sat us in the pub and high was not what our reservation was for. Then our waitress was inattentive. We waited almost 25 minutes for her to get a last drink before finally going to the bar. We were asked “hey are you up here?”, we stated we wanted a drink since our waitress went MIA. The response we got was “oh ok, If you’ll have a seat your waitress will be with you”, she came shortly after with the bill.
First time there, will never go again!

Not sure if it’s you guys or orange crate delivery. But I just order chicken Parmesan. I assumed it came with pasta like all other chicken parmesan. Nowhere did it say I had to pick a side. So I ended up with a couple little chicken breast with sauce and asparagus that I don’t even like. Spent over $20 on my meal after delivery. Chicken was also dry and had very little sauce. More...

For an Italian restaurant this seems like a Generic name, and it is. I ordered theBruschetta appetizer and veal marsala with asparagus for main course. Meatballs on the side. Friday night. Placed was packed at 6:00 pm when we arrived. We asked to be seated outside. For some reason this caused the person up front problems. After "checking" with the "back" he instructed us to go through to the patio seating. We walked through the pub to the patio and sat for 15 minutes. Ignored. I voted to leave but my wife said no. She went back into the pub where the owner was working. He told her "You should have checked in with me before seating yourself on the patio" Really? Wouldn't it have been convenient to have told us that at the front desk? So, 30 minutes after arrival a server appeared. He was kind and apologetic. Also overwhelmed with volume. We ordered. Chicken piccata for me; Santa Fe pasta for my wife. Served with a salad. Some bread sticks. Food was very ordinary, mediocre at best. Desert wasn't offered but by that time we weren't staying anyway. The building is nice and the place is clean. The owner has been there every single time I have been there in the past. I suspect that the place is overwhelmed by lack of adequate staff due to the pandemic. We try Pastaffific once every couple of years and it just never really improves. The wife and I both had penne pasta dishes and the pasta was way over cooked and all stuck together in hard clumps. You know if you throw in a pan pasta and boil it to death and never stir it that it clumps hard. You should never get that at a restaurant. They don't even make their own desserts. Frozen items thawed out. Sad. Save your money and drive to Indy. Our waitress was really good though so I guess that is something. More...
