Hands down my favorite bakery in town! They always have yummy vegan options and savory vegan pastries which is almost impossible to find. Ive been plant based for a while and ive never seen anything like their vegan spinach pastry outside my own kitchen. It's pretty hard to find those without ricotta or mozzarella. And the mushroom and fennel tart is so friggin good. The people working there are always very kind and who doesnt want a pastry blessed by Satan himself? 😈 More...

Finally was able to give this gem a try, and oh boy have I been missing out! Got the vegan and gluten free coconut macaroons and I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a more scrumptious cookie! (Are macaroons a cookie? This might cause a debate.) I’m currently saving my mushroom and fennel tart for a snack tonight… but I will be BACK! More...

I popped into Beelzebunz yesterday morning for the first time and was greeted by a friendly duo inside behind a display case FULL of delicious looking sweet and savory treats! I left with a couple of chocolate chip cookies (monster sized) and a red velvet/cream cheese icing cupcake that was to die for. I look forward to coming back and trying their savory options as well. They also said they take orders for parties and platters. Thanks BBs for your friendly and helpful service to a new customer! More...

I tried them today mediocre at best, macaroons are inedible slimy no taste mess. Meat was spiced nice but breading was flat.

I was so excited to try this bakery. The thought of being able to enjoy a legitimate sausage roll had me in a tizzy! To say I am dissatisfied is an understatement. Before we tackle the sausage roll let’s discuss the sweet potato samosa, espresso brownie, and meat pie. First of all a samosa should be deep fried, they can be baked but the best are fried. The dough is not a puff pastry dough and the filling should be filled with wonderful spices. This samosa was baked, and I am going out on a limb and saying that it was commercially prepared dough that was purchased frozen. If that dough was homemade then that is a shame. The filling was like bland baby food with barely even a hint of spice. The dough was limp, and the only flavor was that of over baked, freezer burned dough. Where was the delicious, slightly chunky, wonderfully spiced filling that belongs in a Samosa? The espresso brownie was dense and heavy, and tasted like store brought brownie mix with some espresso powder thrown in. There was no deep chocolate flavor enhanced by the slight bitter rich taste of a good espresso. From someone who is known amongst friends and family for her “orgasmic brownies” I am a brownie expert, so trust me when I say this is a bad brownie. Also it was baked in a muffin tin, weird, heavy and awkward. The meat pie, in no way shape or form was spicy, same problem with the dough as the Samosa. The frozen ones in the grocery store are 1000% better. If you want Jamaican food, Jerk Shop Go is amazing! Finally the Sausage roll, the one that upsets me the most. I know there are variations of the beloved sausage roll, but traditionally it is a homemade minced meat mixture made into a lovely seasoned sausage mixture and then encased in a beautiful flaky puff pastry made with lard or butter and glazed in a milk wash. They are not a generic, flavorless sausage in a casing wrapped in what one can describe as pre made frozen, flavorless puff pastry. I have been wanting a glorious sausage roll for eons, and I was super duper excited, and now I am a sad panda! We also tried a lemon cake and cheesecake but just not even going there, they were meh. All in all I am pissed that we spent over $60 on 12 of the worst baked goods I have ever eaten in my life. Improperly baked puff pastry with zero lamination, weird greasy film and absolutely zero flavor. Not one ounce of buttery richness and goodness and seriously lacking in salt. I try to support local whenever I can, and was so excited to hear about this Bake Shop opening. If anyone thinks I am being mean for this review, sorry, but it is the truth and I want to be honest about my experience. I am a very experienced baker and a lover of expertly crafted baked goods and this bakery is far from that. In my opinion Incredibly Delicious is the best bakery in town, with Three Twigs right behind them. Anyone who has raved about this bakery either need your taste buds checked or have never had truly good baked goods. Please check out Incredibly Delicious with legitimate French pastries, amazing baked goods and delicious food. Three Twigs has some super yummy goodies especially their scones and homemade pop tarts! Spend money small and local where you can! More...
