We were thoroughly impressed with efficiency, professionalism, and helpfulness of Beefcake Moving. We were delighted with Gabbie who gave us a great quote. Prior to move day, we were contacted by Gabbie to make sure we knew when the moving crew would be coming and to check if we had any changes to our items. Sean and his crew were on time, packed up our entire three bedroom house, labeled and loaded our furniture with ease. Delivery went smoothly, and we were grateful for the crew assembling the furniture as well. Throughout the move, they were communicating efficiently, didn`t waste time, and were overall very reassuring. This company is the best for moving. Beefcake Movers did everything right. They provided a 4 hour arrival window, called me before the window to give me a precise arrival time, showed up on time as they said in the call. Shawn and John executed with precision. They wrapped everything, had so much control and stability, you could tell they knew what they were doing. We did a walk through at the end and they asked if there was anything else they could do for us. This is the movers experience where you get what you pay for. May 4, 2020, email from Beefcake Moving and Storage to Gabbie 300, item $8,103.73. Pick up the invoice for $8103.73 on the morning of May 6, 2020. of May 6, 2020, after loading $13,222.88 minus ($14,197.88) the $975.00 for so-called help in packing. PIckup guesstimation/estimate 501 items per driver/person in charge. The delivery balance of $4,899.88 was paid on May 13, 2020. Items were delivered for about $296.00.On May 13, 2020, inexperienced helpers hired by Beefcakes Driver off Craigslist scratched up my newly installed wood floor by dragging boxes across the floor. The estimated repair cost was $1,800.00. Overage of guesstimation/estimate of $5,119.15 (13,222.88-$8,103.73 = $5,119.15). From my understanding, right is right. From an estimate, if there is an overage, there must be a refund. The information that I am providing is for the reader to make an informed decision about Beefcake Moving Storage. I reviewed and interviewed several movers before hiring Beefcake. I did so after chatting with their office manager, Gabbie, who quickly understood the details of our furniture move from Sherman Oaks to Newport Beach, made me feel comfortable and confident in their capabilities, and gave me a very fair flat fee. The movers, Sean and Gustavo arrived on time, expertly wrapped our furniture with taped moving blankets, followed by taped clear wrap. At the destination, they very carefully carried each piece up a difficult hairpin interior stairway to the bedrooms, and carefully unwrapped and placed each piece without any damage. Sean and Gustavo have worked together for years, and were so nice, professional.....truly, experienced and expert movers. Beefcake moving and storage is AWESOME! I contacted them for a small project with a quick turnaround time. Their customer service is 5-star, all items received were in perfect condition. Items were packed and picked up in California, delivered to Indiana. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I had contacted several packing and moving companies in the Los Angeles area, and Gabby, the office manager, went above and beyond with customer service. All I can say is wow !!! They exceeded far beyond my expectations. They were fast, safe, and courteous throughout the process. They were professional, polite and respectful, and most important flexible. They moved pretty fast considering time and amount of stuff moved. 3 1/2 hours they moved quite a bit including couches tables chairs large garment boxes and more. My move was simple but complex in qty. I was moving to an existing storage I had so I had some items already there. There were considerate of those existing items and didn't stack on the fragile stuff and made sure that I would be able to negotiate later if needed. The drivers and crews were courteous, flexible and worked hard. The price turned out to be a little more than double the estimate which I attribute to my lack of expertise projecting the number of boxes and the companys estimate was sight unseen. The loading crew used a lot of shrink wrap, etc. Im still looking for some things like a tall picture, finding things that were broken or damaged in transit like a solid wood end table, missing unusual essential parts = unusable items i.e. adjustable tv tray & ironing board, essential parts for items in a different box, two recliners were unnecessarily separated to ship then wouldnt fit together properly when unloaded, etc. Late arrival for unloading led to unfinished assembly of my furniture so crew could make their next appt. I hired Beefcake because I needed to clear out of my old apartment asap to accommodate the new tenants. I called on a Monday evening and they had my stuff out by Wednesday morning and delivered from LA to Seattle by Sunday. Gabbie was courteous, professional and responsive to all my needs and questions. She told me the movers would be at my place in LA between 8 am to noon. He was there by 11am. She told me the movers would arrive at Seattle between 8-10am, he was there by 7:55am. The cost was around 1060 including 2 flights of stairs with no elevator. Other quotes were 1900-3000.
