I have been going to Bearde Salon for more than a year now. I followed my stylist Johanna there. The salon is clean, spacious and really relaxing. It’s like a little oasis in the middle of my day! They use wonderful products that are vegan and cruelty free and really work! Everyone there is really welcoming and the service is fantastic! I have been seeing Johanna for many years. My mother was a hair stylist, so let me just stress how very picky I am about getting my hair cut! Michael did a terrific job—I love my new style, which was done extremely thoroughly, patiently, and with impressive precision. We talked a bit at first about what I wanted, he was receptive when I asked for something a little different with the finish near the end of the cut, he was up front about the up-charge for my cut since my hair was extra long and thick, and although the salon’s products are fabulous and he developed the line himself, he did not try to sell every product in his salon to me, like so many hairstylists do! Although, I will likely be back to get some of his magical products that left my hair super shiny and lustrous. Today was a magical day.... I was minding my own business, walking down the street with my dear friend in Mission. We peered in the window of Bearde salon and saw a spectacular haircut going on inside! Feeling down in the dumps, my friend suggested I try a haircut! As luck would have it, Michael had an opening in a few hours!! Everything about the experience was wonderful. I jacked my hair up with doing too much to it the last few months. Needed help badly and decided organic products would be the best option to try and fix/repair my hair. Found Bearde' Salon and went in for a consult with Michael. He was excellent at listening to all I had to impart, then he suggested doing an immediate test strand to know what the best options were going to be. Afterwards he soothed my hair with a treatment that will last until my actual appointment in a few days.

A friend recently referred me to Michael Bearde I have been searching for a new stylist for the past two years after my girl moved away. I have been to five different stylists in that time and all have done something different with my hair and unfortunately it never turned out the way I wanted it both the cut and color and therefore just never looked right and was hard to manage. I saw Michael for the first time today 2/24/16 and I must say the entire experience was wonderful! He greeted me at the door and I felt immediately at ease and knew I was finally seeing someone who knew how to do hair and do it right! I've been searching for the right salon since moving to the area over 4 years ago and I've finally found it! I admit, Bearde' initially lured me in with their organic, cruelty free concept, on top of their super reasonable pricing, but their amazing service is what will keep me coming back! I made an initial color consultation appointment with Megan a week ago and I was immediately greeted at the door. Megan was friendly, upbeat, and really enthusiastic about doing my rose gold color. After our initial consultation, she even texted with me back and forth before my color appointment so we could share photos and ensure she got it just right. Today, she not only nailed my cut and color, but she also did a quick eyebrow wax for me at the end. Wow! This place is amazing! What a beautiful salon! Amanda was amazing and so kind! She did such a great job with my hair! It has been 2 and a half years since I did anything with my hair.
