I highly recommend Amber and her team if you need help with your wedding. We hired Beach Side Ceremonies & Events for Day-of-Coordinating because our venue required we have a day-of-coordinator. My fiance and I were the ones finding all the vendors and making all the decisions about our wedding and reception, but in the end Amber and her people were there to execute it and take care of all the little things to make our day perfect. Even if you want to do all the work yourself and/or your Venue doesn't require a day-of-coordinator I would highly recommend Beach Side Ceremonies & Events to facilitate your day-of dreams. She was the best! Her & her husband set it all up and took it all down. They have very beautiful high quality props that’s WELL WORTH the small amount they charge for everything they do! It looked beautiful and just what I wanted. She’s very helpful & accommodating. She made sure everything went smoothly and all the vendors did their jobs correctly. When my daughter and I began planning her Florida Gulf Coast "toes in the sand" beach wedding, there were numerous decisions to make---and we lived over 2,000 miles away. After securing the wedding venue (Holiday Inn Resort in Fort Walton Beach) I asked our venue's reception representative if he could recommend a wedding coordinator, realizing what a daunting task planning this very special event would be! I knew we definitely needed the guidance of a local wedding event specialist. He didn't hesitate a moment. He told me the "best of the best" was Amber Jeter of Beach Side Ceremonies & Events, a company she and her husband, Travis, own and operate. Amber was truly a godsend. We worked closely with her in the 9 months leading up to our "special day" as she patiently guided us through the monthly calendar checklist of the numerous wedding decisions and vendor hires we needed to make... Amber and her team were great, super friendly, patient, and understanding. Amber and her staff did our beach wedding yesterday and it was amazing! I couldn't wait to rave about how amazing she was! I'm not as tired as a usual bride would be because Amber and her staff made things easy and smooth for me, my husband, and our families the day of. She not only met our expectations, but her and her staff exceeded them. If you choose to work with them you will not be disappointed. Please be patient if communication is difficult at the beginning. Amber was my coordinator for 45 days out not the entire planning process. After the initial meeting the communication between us was a little rough, however that did not hinder our event. At times it was a little difficult to get a return call but eventually it did happen. However, 3 weeks from the wedding her and her staff kicked it into high gear and worked so hard to make our event perfect. Communication was great after that. I threw Amber a few curveballs the day off and she took them like a champ and never missed a beat. I literally lost my garders and forgot supplies for communion. Where to begin... My experience with Beach side ceremonies was magical. It was the happiest moment of my life and it is all thanks to Amber. I live in Salisbury, MD, but my wedding was in Destin Fl, so you can imagine how hectic it was trying to plan a wedding. I found Beach side Ceremonies by just googling wedding planners, and everyone prior was a nightmare. Not to mention My wedding was so short notice, but When I called Amber and spoke with her she was the sweetest and the most understanding person. I can honestly say she is a miracle worker. Beachside Ceremonies knows how to plan and coordinate a fun party. Our company Christmas party was a big hit this year thanks to them. We had 82 guests. They recommended and booked a great food caterer, DJ, dessert caterer, and bar service and decorated the party room. People couldn't believe it when they saw the room. The party went off smoothly thanks to their ideas, careful planning and professional staff - all we had to do was enjoy the party. They coordinated and ran the games and prizes. These folks know this business well and have the tools and know-how to plan and throw a great party. Beachside Ceremonies and Events did an awesome job. I was finishing college in Alabama and planning a wedding in Florida. Amber took such great care of us . She was always available to talk even with my traveling schedule. She listened to what we were looking for and kept in mind the budget we had set. The venue was breath-taking. They made sure that the place was manicured and set-up perfectly. We were also able to rent all of our chair, tables, linens, the cross I dreamed of( Amber and I looked at examples of what it would look like since she would be having it built) and many other options available to us. I married the love of my life on July 26, 2014. Getting married in Destin was something that me and my husband discussed 2 years ago after visiting for vacation. I was very concerned on how to plan a wedding being that I lived 7.5 hrs. away, but being that we decided that it would be a small event that we would manage. After hours and months of research we decided to have our celebration at Ramada in Fort Walton Beach. Ramada had told me of 'Beachside Ceremonies,' and that they were a vendor in which they worked closely with. After speaking to Amber with Beachside Ceremonies, I had made the decision to hire them as my wedding planner. After discussing everything that I wanted and the prices I don't think I would have found better. Our First initial phone call lasted 2.5 hrs. she got to know me on a personal level so that she could fit my wedding for me. We stayed in contact over months and as the wedding closed in I stayed at ease bc she stayed on top of things. The day before the wedding we met with her and finalized everything. When it came down to it our little personal wedding turned into all of the immediate family plus a few more. Amber and the Ramada of Fort Walton Beach had no problem accommodating them. We went from about 8 to 35 people. The BIG DAY is Finally HERE!!!!!!! It's Time!!!!! I walk out on to the beach and it was just so breath taking. It was what I wanted. It was what I dreamt about for sooo long. It was so beautiful, everything from the flowers, the arbor, the vows, the pastor, everything was just so pretty. Amber also set up for my dinner which was held in The Senetors Room in the Ramada. I was just amazed when I walked in that things I wasn't expecting was there. I feel that she went above and beyond what I was realistically thinking budget wise. Finally I had a small reception on the beach. Soooo Beautiful. Again above and beyond what I was expecting. I was just married in August and I can't believe how beautiful and welll organized my wedding was. Everything was perfect down to all of those little details like photo's for the guests and family members who meant so much to us were included in our ceremony in spirit. My guests are still talking about how gorgeous all of the flowers were and how unique my beach wedding was. I love Amber she made me feel like I was her only bride and she wanted it as beautiful as me. I was recommended to Amber and Beachside Ceremonies by the owner of the rental house we used for our beautiful venue www.vrbo .com/13200 . I could not have picked a better vendor for my rentals, floral, planning, minister, music equipment, etc. I had a family member who is a wedding planner, which is why I didn't use Amber as my day-of coordinator, but she was amazing and so helpful in every detail.
The Arbor. Wow. I can't even put into words how pretty the arbor is that they have. I was on the fence about an arbor until I saw the driftwood arbor they have in stock and I nearly fainted; it is so pretty and unique, and just so rustic looking. It is a little difficult to hang flowers on, but it is sooo pretty.They also did our chairs for the ceremony and reception. They delivered the chairs for the reception Thursday night and even set up the tables for us in the backyard so we didn't have to do it. Great service. On the beach, they set up the wedding benches for a photo op with the arbor and chairs at the aisles for the decorations to hang on. They provided lanterns and a table for our ceremony that made it look so beautiful.The florist she used was amazing, she was affordable, & the flowers were so beautiful and lasted forever! (I took my bouquet on my honeymoon and it lived through the whole trip). I sent the arbor arrangements with my sister who works at a nursing home for veterans to give to her favorite residents. Amber and her husband provided us with a sound system for the beach and the boathouse- which worked great! The generator for the beach was a bit of an issue because it decided to stop working right when I was going to walk down the aisle! We got it working again though, so no harm, no foul.
Amber also helped us out tremendously with a minister, Father Madison, who did a fantastic job officiating our wedding with a beautiful and eloquent ceremony. We couldn't be happier with the service Amber and her husband Travis provided us on our big day. Thank you More...

Beachside was so wonderful to work with for my wedding. Amber made everything so easy and was friendly and genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy with everything. I live in Georgia so planning an out of town wedding was a little more difficult but she basically took care of everything and gave suggestions for vendors.; Everyone that she recommended were easy to work with and really made the whole process a breeze. I had the pleasure of meeting Amber and her husband Travis at a Bridal Show in Fort Walton Beach in January of this year. At the time that I met her, I had a venue picked in Fort Walton but very vague ideas of what I wanted my wedding to be . I was also having to do everything from North Carolina and with limited communication to my husband because of a deployment. Initially I experienced some anxiety and felt overwhelmed planning a destination wedding, but once I met Amber and Travis, I felt completely at ease. Amber and Travis I want thank you for all the time and energy you put into entire ceremony from back in January 2013 until August 22, 2013 the day after the ceremony when you both came to break everything down. Your patience and kindness from several days before the wedding until the day after, your work ethic and creativity as well as a endless list of vendors turned what could have been a disaster for a destination wedding, that still brings tears to my eyes when I remember how beautiful everything was for this beach side Cindarella (complete with an authentic Disney Cindarella coach) wedding. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Amber and Travis at Beachside Ceremonies and Events for my wedding and I cannot express in words how much of a pleasure it was to work with them and how much they did to help me get to a point of low stress on my wedding day!
I wish I could talk about everything they did for us, but then this review probably has a word limit! To make a very long story short, Amber and Travis are amazing. I contacted them a frazzled bride planning a wedding on my own, and no clue how to do it. I used them as a day of coordination but they ended up doing so much more than that. They maintained amazing contact with me throughout the process, to talk about ideas, see what I thought about this or that, and to make sure that on my day, I walked into a wedding that was set up exactly like I wanted. The day I got married, the only thing I needed to worry about was wake up, get pampered with hair and makeup and then go get married. They maintained contact with vendors, helped get the day of schedule together, set up, broke down, and coordinated in between.
To say they met my expectations would be an understatement. When I arrived to my wedding location, I felt like I had stepped in to my dream wedding. They absolutely got everything right, and even went a little beyond that. I felt like my special day was the only day they were concerned with and that I was the only client they have (although I’m sure they had a million other things to do for other brides).
