Melanie has been my stylist for years. I would not trust anyone else to do my hair. Recently I have been having issues with my skin, I have no skincare regimen as I usually just use bar soap. Melanie did a chemical peel and a pumpkin enzyme mask and I feel like a new person! She explained step by step what she was doing and how my skin could benefit from it, all while making me feel relaxed. It was a great experience! I also purchased a bottle of her homemade oil for my face. It is amazing! I never would have thought to put oil on my face but it really makes a difference! I am so happy that I chose Melanie. This was only the second time I have ever let a salon cut my hair(first time was about 4 years ago and it did NOT turn out well). So I was pretty nervous. Melanie was so great. She was very happy and positive and made sure she understood what I wanted before she started with anything. She let me know what she was doing and why and made sure i agreed. Which may have been because I told her how nervous I was, but still very thoughtful hahaI am definitely going back to her from now on. And super excited for her to do some color next time!Second time going to Melanie. I love her so much! 1.) I have lots of social anxieties so before her I had only ever gone to a salon once before for the mere fact that thinking about having to make small talk with someone gives me anxiety. She's very easy to talk to and it doesn't feel forced.2.) She really know what she's doing and is able to insert her expertise into whatever I'm trying to explain to her. I really didn't know much about what I wanted, especially the coloring aspect, but I tried to explain it to her and she does a really great job at listening. And picking out what's really important to you (looking natural for me). She did a terrific job on my color. This is the first time I've had color done at a salon and she exceeded all my expectations. There are several different shades in my hair, but she did amazing in making it look natural for me and my skin tone. I'm so glad I've found her and I'm so sad I'll be moving within the next couple months I don't think I'll be able to find another Melanie. More...

I got married a few weeks ago and Melanie came out to the hotel to do the hair and makeup for the wedding party. She was FANTASTIC! She came prepared with all sorts of supplies, and was able to replicate hairstyles that some of the girls pulled up on their phones. Melanie is amazing! I used her as the hair/makeup artist for my wedding. From the trial to the wedding day she was extremely professional, creative, kind and amazing at her job. Melanie is very open to feedback and works to make your vision happen. I completely changed my mind on my hairdo the day of my wedding and she was extremely patient and took her time creating the look I desired. I was so happy with the end result. My hair stayed intact until the next morning, and my makeup looked great the entire night. She arrived on time and all 8 of us were ready earlier than planned. She is also very affordable, which was a key factor since I wanted to pay for all of my bridesmaids services as well. I am very happy that I chose Be Beautiful for my wedding and would definitely recommend Melanie to anyone. More...
