B-dash was heaven sent. She did my makeup and natural 4C hair for my wedding. I found her randomly after trying for a while to find a MUA for my wedding. I told her what I wanted, sent some pictures, and she made it all happen! She is a great communicator and a very professional person. She is so reliable. She arrived exactly when she said she would and was ready to go! After she had worked so hard, she noticed I wasn’t too comfortable with the eyelashes (they felt too dramatic for me) and even without telling her to, she replaced them and kept working until I was perfectly comfortable. All of that is what you would want from your makeup artist on your wedding day. But let me tell you, she did even more than just excellent makeup and hair. Bukky did my hair and makeup for my traditional Nigerian wedding and my white wedding in virginia. My friend found her page on IG and we both loved her work on dark skin brides. From the first time we spoke I knew I was in good hands. She was so professional and very down to earth. Everyone loved her so much. All the guest kept asking about my makeup. She always looks presentable and very well spoken. Even when certain stresses arose during the wedding day, bukky was there to keep me calm and provide a hug when needed. My wedding day would have gone VERY differently if bukky was not there by my side. THE MAKEUP & HAIR!! It was 100 degrees the day of my wedding and my makeup did not move AT ALL! I did not sweat AT ALL. I looked flawless for almost 16hrs until I removed the makeup. The same thing at my white wedding. I cried during my first dance and you never would have known. Hair was flawless not a strain out of place. Bukky takes pride in her work and took her time to make sure that I was flawless. Bukky was God sent!! Worth every single penny plus more. Bukky is an amazing person, she was more than a makeup artist and a hairstylist throughout the times leading to the big day and especially on my wedding day.
She was very punctual and patient even though I wasn't ready but was also firm about getting me ready. Her fun personality helped me relax and it was such a pleasure having her around throughout the day. You can tell she loves her work and the best part is she knows exactly what she is doing and what happens with every event.
A note to future clients (especially brides) - whatever she asks you to do, do it! Listen to her tips during the planning, you would discover on the d-day that Bukky "was" right.

Bukky went the EXTRA mile for my mum's Mothers Day Makeover. I can't begin to tell you how much of a blessing she was to us. We needed pics, although she's not a professional photographer and made time and took many for us! I am grateful to God we found her at the last minute. My mother came in 63years old and left 33! She was punctual and did a wonderful job on both my hair and makeup. I feel blessed to have worked with her on my special day. Though I loved how everything turned out on my wedding day, looking at pics I even found more things to love about my look that I did not notice before.
