This was my fiance and my first time at this restaurant and we have been talking about coming here for a few years now. We came here for a company Christmas party. I am so glad we were able to enjoy a variety of foods and most importantly not have to pay for it haha. My favorite cocktail of the evening was the mai tai. Be careful because it is a drink you can easily slurp down in a heartbeat because it's so good that you forget that there's alcohol in it. For starters wow we had the Key Biscayne oyster, coconut shrimp, portobello mushrooms and the Ahi Tuna. My picky fiance who barely likes seafood really loved the coconut shrimp and the Ahi Tuna. I equally thought everything was very tasty and delicious. Our salad was the beet arugula salad which is also very very good. The blend of nuts and cheese and greens with the dressing was perfect. Last I got the Kingston Trio and the lobster and crab or a little cold but I understand that everyone at the party order the same thing so it probably came out after cool down a bit but it was still amazing and the filet mignon was the best part. We had a wonderful time at the place. We came in 5 minutes in advance of our reservation but we were seated right away and had a very seating view. Always a great place to have a meal. My mom begged me to bring her back. This was her second visit to Indian Rocks and she remembered how great the meal and service was last time. Excellent seafood fished from their own boats, served in a large waterfront setting. Entering the restaurant there are large coolers displaying their fare. Everything I have tried has been high quality - lobster, stone crab, grouper, flounder - and there are non-seafood dishes as well, though I come here for the fresh seafood. We had a perfect table with water view. The service by Dallas was outstanding! Food and drinks excellent. Our one and only complaint was that we were advised we could only get reservations at 4:00 and there were many empty tables until almost 5:30.

Dinner was awesome. The vibe in the building was good. The only thing I didn’t agree was with the price of the surf and turf. IMO, Salt Rock Grill is the best upscale dining experience one can have on Gulf Blvd. Steaks there are amazing as well as the seafood. We did the early dinner and relied on a recommendation of our waiter, Austin, to get the fresh fish special, skewered chunks of grouper with red pepper. It was delicious! We ate outside ( Northeners on vacation craving outside dining). Both Austin and Michael worked diligently to restart the outdoor hearer nearby when wind gusts took out the flame.
