My mom had spent a week cooking for 9 hungry people and we wanted to give her a night off.  Instead of dragging three small kids out to a restaurant, we turned to Rhea and Basic Kneads to act as our personal chef for an evening.  We didn't regret it for a number of reasons:*Great food.  The bread is out of this world and the dishes were very tasty.  We have pretty high food standards, and we were not disappointed.*Good value.  She provided bread, veggies, scalloped potatoes, salad, ribs, and dessert at an incredibly reasonable per person cost.  We also had plenty of food.*Very customer focused.  We contacted Rhea with just 24 hours notice. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
The first step is to get your per-person or overall food budget. Second step is to find out if you are expecting any guests that have allergies or dietary restrictions. The third step is for me to get creative and put together a few custom menu ideas for you to choose from, based on your criteria .

What inspired you to start your own business?
Hand-made Organic foods are in short supply from restaurant & caterers. I wanted to share my God-given talents with as many folks as possible. Taste & quality are hard to find these days!

Full-service delivery. We setup your food in a buffet line, supply a menu (no one likes mystery food!) and hot packs to keep your food hot until you eat it. Free cucumber water too.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are a husband & wife team and we are both up-to date on our vaccines. Rhea is the Chef & Baker; John & Erin help with deliveries. We have a private commercial kitchen, that is exclusively for catering. No one comes into the kitchen other than John & I. We wear masks for delivery. Basic Kneads operates under licensing & stringent sanitation rules.
