What do you love most about your job?
Quite simply, we change people's lives. A lot of people, who genuinely love and care about their dogs, are driven nuts by their behavior, and often don't understand that it is their behavior which is causing the dog(s) to act in this way. We explain to people exactly how dogs think, and then communicate with the dogs in a way they completely understand, resulting in a better behaved dog, and a happier, less-stressed dog too. Consequently, the owner becomes happier and less stressed. All this helps to prevent the surrender, re-homing or euthanasia of companion dogs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We needed a Visa to emigrate from our home in the UK to the loveliest part of the greatest country in the world, and the best way to do this was to make a substantial investment in a qualifying business. Having found that Bark Busters fitted in the bill, and having watched how successfully our local trainer in Scotland understood and trained dogs, we pressed ahead in 2008 and have not looked back since.

The intellectual property we have acquired through Bark Busters truly enables us to know exactly what each dog is thinking, and then that guides us to which of the four quadrants of operant conditioning we should apply in order to modify the dog's behavior with the minimum of stress.
