Just had my sister's wedding shower here on Sunday 6/23/19 and it was perfect! Everything from beginning to end was taken care of. We had our Wedding at the Irwin location this past weekend and everything was amazing. The Wedding Packages are the best we came across. They include literally eveything. We recieved so many compliments on our Wedding. The food was phenomenal, staff was very attentive and professional. We had both our Ceremony and Reception there. The room was decorated so beautifully. They made rose decorations out of our linens that added such an elegant touch. We worked with Bob, and from our first meeting almost 2 years ago he has been nothing but amazing. He made our day so beautiful and special. Working with him was so easy and there was no stress. He went above and beyond our expectations. Our Wedding was everything we could have dreamed and more. The Photo Booth company we booked through them was also fantastic! Went to a wedding here last weekend , had an amazing time ! The venue was beautiful , decorations were on point and most of the food was perfect ! Which brings me to my biggest issue . During the cocktail hour , servers were passing around hot appetizers . Mini hotdogs , mini quiches , and mini “ buffalo chicken bites “ . I love buffalo chicken so I grabbed a couple along with some mini hotdogs. After eating, I noticed buffalo chicken wasn’t really spicy at all . Then moments later I noticed I got a little nauseous. I have a shellfish allergy that I’m really really careful about , and I could tell that I had consumed some . I asked my wife to try some and she said that’s definitely not chicken that’s crab . So after I rinsed my mouth out in the bathroom I went to the kitchen area and asked the cooks and servers in the kitchen if they had crab or some kinda shellfish they were passing around . They all said no we had mini hotdogs , quiches and buffalo chicken. I’m a chef myself so I don’t want to keep pressing and offending them so I left it alone . One of the servers came up to me about 10 min later apologizing that there was a mistake and it was crab and that they usually don’t have that appetizer but they did today . She’s game and checked on me periodically during the reception which I really appreciated . I would never come on here and leave a negative review to trash someone’s business but as a chef / caterer myself and someone that has a shellfish allergy , I feel the responsibility to let people know to make sure that you are aware of the food that they are providing . I hadn’t had a episode in years , and luckily It was not as severe as it could have been , but just to think that if it were someone with a higher allergy or a child that could have been catastrophic. Me and my hubby was there yesterday for a wedding 5 27 -17 . First time in the banquet hall it was just beautiful I loved all the tool in the lighting . my 50th wedding anniversary is coming up in two years and I'm seriously thinking about having it there everything is on one floor and that's the way I like it . .
