Really a nice place in Bellevue downtown for late night relax. Jazz music live show along with alcohol (cocktails are normal not so amazing). The service is good.

Cool venue with live music. They have a parking garage so it was easy to find parking. The food was average although we didn't try all of the things I wanted to so might still come back to give it a chance. The burger was medium well even though we ordered well done which moats my partner's opinion of it. The fries were actually really good. Hot and salty. The Thai wings I got were very heavy on sauce (I scraped a bit of it off and then it was fine) and it was very heavy ginger. Good flavor otherwise though, the spice sneaks up on you which I love. We also got the crispy Brussel sprouts salad to share which had awesome flavor but the sprouts were a bit undercooked.The music was great, a bit louder than I expected so we probably could've sat farther away or even outside. We went as a party of five to Bake's on the Friday night of Labor Day Weekend.  Arriving at 8 p.m. the parking was convenient, easy and free.  We started the evening out on the patio with drinks and shared plates.  We enjoyed the cheese plate, hummus, veggies and pita, pork belly, and lettuce wraps.  Precisely at 9 p.m., as advertised, the band started and we moved inside.  The venue was excellent and the booth held the five of us comfortably.  I was particularly impressed by the house sound.  The sound guy knew his room, every instrument was clear, not too loud, just a great listening environment.  This allowed the band to have a relatively small amount of equipment on the generously sized stage, allowing them to move a bit.  We heard the Big Road Blues, and they threw down two great sets between 9 and 11:30.  My only complaint is that there's no designated dance floor, which I prefer to getting up between tables and interfering with the wait staff.  A good time was had by all, though the place was mysteriously half empty.  $17 cover charge on this particular night.  We'll be back because we enjoyed ourselves and we like to support live music. Nice atmosphere, there is DJ area inside, plenty of outside seat. Good food, we love the flat iron steak, juicy and not small portion. Bar with pretty decent drinks and food. This place is a bit posh so it's on the more expensive side, but it has a cool atmosphere and a stage for live music as well! Food (4.5/5):We only tried the pork belly (one of their specials for valentine's day). It was basically 4 pieces of thick fatty pork belly and it was delicious! The pork belly was very soft and tender and flavorful, and the taste mixed well with the cabbage and pineapple salsa that it came with.Drinks (4/5):I tried the "Dancing in the Moonlight" cocktail, which I thought was okay but a bit too sweet and not strong enough for my test. I also tried their mule, and I quite liked this. It had a stronger ginger taste than I usually get in mules but tasted quite good and was quite strong as well.Service (4/5):The service here was quite good overall. The waiters were attentive and checked on us often, and the food came fast. When my friend wasn't sure what wine to order, they also gave us a few samples to try, which I really appreciated. Music is soul and this place can move your soul by having the most amazing performances in and around Bellevue.We got a booth reservation and it was extremely comfortable to watch the performances. The cocktails were really good and well made! The only linit was the option of vegeterian food. Wish they had more options. I've been here 3 times when in Bellevue for business. So I must like it right? I absolutely do.  A friend who lives in Bellevue brought several of us here one night for drinks and the live entertainment. The entertainment was fantastic and the drinks were fast, strong and creative.  The venue is a perfect spot for seeing  entertainers  up close  and getting to interact with them during their breaks.I brought a date back after my initial visit for drinks for dinner one night on a Saturday night. I made reservations so we got right in. We were early,, 6:30 PM so it was busy but they served us promptly and kept an eye on us so we never had to go looking for our waiter. The drinks and the food was excellent again as was the service.On another trip I came in for a late lunch about 2:30 PM and it was very quiet with only 3 or 4 other tables with any business.  The lunch menu was a little bit different and more limited but we found  plenty of things we could choose from. we enjoyed our lunch without being rushed.  The food was good  and the service was great as usual.I am from Texas  but I'm in the Seattle area a few times a year on business and this is 1 of the places I like to make sure I stop by and have a meal and enjoy the entertainment when it's available. Bellevue is a lovely town  with sophisticated  yet friendly and homey dining venues. I can see why people love to live here  besides the fact that it is so close to Microsoft headquarters.. This is a great fun place for those that want to enjoy some music some food and relaxed atmosphere. Tonight there was a blues band in and he was very entertaining to watch. We sat watching from the bar area thinking that we could get a table, but found that there wasn't a bad seat in the house and we actually had fun watching from the bar. I would recommend that you make reservations for table as depending on who was performing, the tables can get scarce. Atmosphere was very nice and the service staff was on point. I've been Bake's Place a couple times for happy hours and have definitely enjoyed my times there!  Their happy hours are M-F 3-6pm.  I've tried pretty much all the different foods on the happy hour menu, and definitely recommend the fries and the hummus plate.  :) When it's cold outside, their hot toddy's are definitely highly recommended.  I also really enjoyed their Gin Blossom drink.  :) Their menu recently changed so I'm not completely sure if their online menu is up-to-date.  I haven't been here for an actual meal yet (just happy hours), but I highly recommend coming here if you're interested in doing a happy hour in downtown Bellevue!  I've gone here with big groups during happy hour times and have had no trouble getting a table. The food and cocktails are always good here, my friend and I come here once a month since I moved to DT Bellevue in 2017.  The service is not rushed, you can sit and chat or you can listen to live music even on weekdays .  The menu rotates seasonally and we haven't had a bad meal there, sometimes we order several starters to share, sometimes we go only for main meals.  Alot of thought is put into the menu and their attention to detail is evident.  Overall a nice place without the pretentious vibe most places in this neighborhood have. it was a wednesday, and the music was outstanding. the duo tonight was so perfect for the mood we were in! the rowdy private party on the patio, however, was not. the food was pretty great (lettuce wraps, lil mac sliders, crab cakes, french fries) and the drinks were really good (bee's knees x's 2). service wise, each server was on their stuff - coming to our table to check up often. one server in particular was really great to get to talk to moreso toward the end of our visit. wish we'd have gotten to know his personality earlier on. we will absolutely be back and will bring friends next time we're in town! Bake's Place...shockingly amazing. Pretty much nailed it in every category.  Went for the Mark DuFresne Band - Jaw dropping amazing. His voice pierced me like a red hot operating needle. My co-workers and I decided to try out happy hour here after work, which starts at 3pm.  We were wanting to go somewhere with outdoor seating.  I've walked by this place many times and never noticed the the outdoor area or paid attention; I always just remembered seeing the restaurant sign.  We were the only customers there when we got there at 3:30pm, and it got packed by the time it was 6:00pm.  The outdoor seating and layout was really nice, especially on a warm, sunny summer day.  It was Whiskey Wednesday and they were playing country music.  The atmosphere was great, and staff is attentive and friendly.  We ordered the Shisito Peppers, Buffalo Wings, French Fries, Marinated Olives, and Fried Calamari, and everyone enjoyed the appetizers.  My favorite was the Fried Calamari.  I don't think the happy hour prices were the best, which was $2 off the already pricey appetizer prices, but overall, a great place to hang out. We went here for a dinner and a show.  It is really great that their is a live music restaurant in Bellevue.  It is in an odd location in an office building where you would more likely find a bank. The process is different.  For popular acts, it is a good idea to make reservations. As you arrive, you will pay for the musical act first and then be seated.We decided to site near the stage and arrived about 30 minutes before the show.  They have a good wine list so we ordered a bottle (so that we would not be dependent on servers during the entertainment).  We started with the cheese plate.  I love a good cheese plate and this would did not disappoint.  The cheese choices were great and it including good crackers and jam.  For the main course I had linguini carbonara.  This was well made with a great mix that included bacon and corn.  It was also nice and filling.The music that night was really good.  The acoustics are good and even though we were close to the stage it was not overwhelming. I give this place 3 stars for food and 5 stars for venue and music. The atmosphere is truly one of a kind. A small intimate place with amazing live music. We saw Heart by heart and they were fantastic! Good sound. You are up close and personal with the band. There is a cover for the music and then you eat dinner. Make reservations early, that is a must. There is a tiny dance floor also. My salmon was a bit fishy tasting and the asparagus was under cooked. My boyfriend didn't love his burger either. Intimate music venue!  I'd love to come back for that.  Not a bad seat in the place and they have their own parking garage. A+++ Christmas party spot!  My husband said by far this was the best spot- out of everywhere in downtown Bellevue his company has gathered up their employees for get togethers.  Everywhere else has been too loud or their private rooms are too tight.  The ambiance impressed everyone.  So intimate and laid out well around the stage.  They offered the company a chance for booking a band, too.  That would have been fun.  It was great to have the place to ourselves.We all loved the food.  They were great about constantly serving appetizers.  These were salmon with crem fresh, artichoke on bread, and Swedish meatballs.  The staff were all attentive on refilling drinks and water.  Hearty plates of steak and potatoes, good sized salmon with risotto, I'm vegetarian so my dish was a pesto cream pasta heavy on delicious mushrooms with broccoli and squash.  They brought out both bread pudding with ice cream and yummy caramel sauce and cream brûlée.  A+ service and food.  Nothing skimpy here. Outstanding venue competing with locals in Seattle but with much easier access and parking. Came to see and enjoy Andy Stokes and was delighted by the place. Multiple seating arrangements and a killer outside patio area that was outstanding.Didn't have to wait in line and had assigned seating. Great lighting and better acoustics.
