Just tried Backwoods for the first time tonight. All I can say is WOW! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The food was phenomenal! We started with deviled eggs and Vietnamese Spring Rolls that are made locally. I could have made a meal of those spring rolls. We both had the pot roast as Bailey, our server, recommended it and she was right! It’s served in a little cast iron pan but there was enough that we took some home. My husband had chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert and it was yummy as well. You gotta try this place! Thanks Bailey! More...

I got take out on Saturday evening of September 11th. My boyfriend and I both ordered the fish and chips dinner-both were very greasy and didn't have a good crisp to them. Probably would have been better in house. Also, there wasn't any malt vinegar to be served with the fish and chips which was disappointing. My father got a burger and enjoyed it. More...

We had brunch at Backwoods Bar and Kitchen this morning. The food was excellent. The chicken and waffles is very good. My wife loved the breakfast burrito. While it may be a bit out of the the way, well worth the drive. We had little kids with us and the entertainment was a little loud so they gladly moved us to a quieter spot.
