servise was very good - most food excellent except for my $42 prime strip steak - tough and sinewy returned half or more on my plate as it was inedible - i was credited half the cost in my opinion - this was not an adequate accommodation for a pricey piece of beef that failed to live up to the "prime" hype and the high cost

Consistant quality service and menu. Won;t be disappointed! Wine list is very well selected. The salads were of good variety and quality. Pasta dishes were well prepared and seasoned perfectly .Beef was of excellent quality and preparation. We wanted to go somewhere new for our 50th anniversary. Reservations for 6:30 and we requested a nice table. We were escorted right in to a great table in front next to the window. It was perfect - we could see the whole restaurant and watch the people on the street. The hostess took our coats and the server (Kristin) came right over with two glasses of champagne (complimentary) for our anniversary. She gave us a detailed review of food choices with recommendations. The gnocci mac and cheese was to die for! I had already checked out the menu and had decided on the pecan crusted salmon - served on diced sweet potatoes - outstanding pairing. My husband had the ribeye topped with gorgonzola. He is a meat and potatoes person so was not totally thrilled with the cheese - too much - but he enjoyed it and I was happy that he tried something new. Kristin was so personable and fun to talk to. She checked in on us, but was not a nuisance (and she was taking care of many tables on a Friday night). I watched her and she gave all her tables the same attention that she gave to us. The only thing that wasn't great was the desserts, which we always get when we go out. They were okay, but nothing to write home about. However, it did not diminish the whole evening. One last thing, the valet was the best. He was running back and forth, which we watched from our window seat and was smiling and seemed to be having a great time. We were asked if we had a show or other event to attend (for timing), and when we said, "no", our meal was relaxed, with perfect pacing between courses for conversation.
