This place has some amazing southern FOOD and trust me when I say something is GREAT it is. My standards of FOOD are at a HIGH. Being a cook myself it's hard to go somewhere and just be 100% satisfied but when I go to Dixies I am very satisfied every time. Somethings are a little expensive but hey you pay for what you get that's good you know. Thank You guys and gals for being a amazing place to dine at. Ate there last night or attempted to. Our appetizer, 6 wings never came out. The waitress noticed once our food came and hurried to fix the situation. Once we received our food 30-40 minutes after placing our order it was cold. The grit cake was hard and dry from being over cooked. The ribs were fatty, hardly any meat, and definitely didn’t fall off the bone by any means. Not sure what happened to this place, but their food quality has gone way down. Very rude made us stand outside in the cold, no one else was in the large waiting area and my daughter was cold, when seated waitress was very rude when food arrived my bun was black on inside from grill and burger was over cooked very badly

I've been here twice for two very different gatherings. Once in December for a work party--where the wine and food was delicious (I recommend the nachos! ) and one of the owners gave us a tour of the property. Second time was in January to try the skating rink (my 8yo LOVED it!) which was fun and inexpensive. Safety protocols were in place as well (hand sanitizer available, masks worn). I’ve been here 3 times and won’t be back. My first experience was ok. My second visit we had the table police coming at us 5 mins after sitting down. We are grown adults and know how long an hour is an answered them at check out that we understood their policy. Third visit was today. I had breakfast with a friend this morning. The staff was not welcoming or friendly. We sat down at the table and were not there for a full four minutes. Our time to sit was 9:50 am. As we are just sitting this snobby girl comes up and asks US what time it is. If you’re gonna ask me what time as I’m just sitting down for coffee and interrupting me you better make sure you have a watch on your arm. That’s not my job. It was 9:54 am by the way. I am the one giving YOU my money and a tip. THEN as we were leaving we ran into a friend and were chatting (literally not in the way) and the same snobby girl comes up and NOT nicely asks us to leave and go outside. Just had the worst experience at Blue Moon. Loved eating here in years past, come back into town and the new management is horrible. Called in a to-go order at 5:45pm, arrive to pick up my food and nobody can find it. 6:30pm and the food still isn’t ready. Manager gave an insincere apology and I had to ask for my money back. NEVER EVEN GOT MY FOOD. Also, none of the wait staff or people that I saw in the kitchen were wearing masks. I’ll be sharing my experience with lots of people. More...

Went for lunch, told us it was a 30 minute wait at 103, we waited in our car, it was 140 I even downloaded the app to see where we were at in line. said 2nd for 15 minutes. finally get out, its freezing out. they asked if I ever recieved the 2nd text of if the table was ready, never recieved anything they let us stand in side we had 2 small kids with us 7 months, 4 years, at 150 said something to a manager, they said it would be real soon, finally got sat at 2. we waited an hour and the place had several tables open and a whole section open, even with covid tables aren't 6 feet apart, they have shields which is fine but sat us in an area of about 10 tables. ended up setting another family right behind us when they could of sat them further away. I understand covid is a problem with how things are going but this was ridiculous and could of been handled a whole lot better! I absolutely love their food. This was my first day off in a long time and I havent been out to eat since October for my birthday and it was the WORST EXPERIENCE ever. Dont tell us you have no tables but we clearly see them and then set a group next to us 5 minutes later with 10 other tables open, ridiculous! oh and its 1130 pm at night and still never revieved a text message.
