Aaron was hands down the best DJ we ever could have hired for our wedding. He truly cares about making sure his client's day goes exactly how they want it. From the first time we talked, he went above and beyond to make our day special. When we had mishaps with the caterer, he was there to deal with it. He even scheduled a tour of the venue, and we walked through the entire day together to help create the timeline. He gave great advice and is extremely knowledgeable in the wedding dj industry. His MC skills were incredible and kept the tineline on track. He has a passion for music and it really shows. We were a bit indecisive with the dance party music but he helped us to come up with the perfect playlist for our day and kept the guests dancing!! Aaron was so fun to have around. We got married in January 2023 after shuffling dates and venues over the last 3 years (highly recommend planning a wedding during a global pandemic). Aaron was with us every step of the way, providing pressure-free guidance and positive energy. His insight in curating the perfect unique and meaningful day really resonated with us. The experience he provides goes beyond simply picking playlists and timing toasts. He made every step of the process pleasant, which is a much welcome addition to the chaos that often surrounds event planning. He is organized and very knowledgeable in the industry, so having him as a seasoned soundboard was extremely helpful in making music and timeline decisions. Aaron exceeded our expectations and we are so happy we hired him as our DJ and entertainment expert for our wedding in Carmel Valley. After our first time chatting with Aaron, we could feel his passion for his work and music and genuinely knew he was going to be the best. Aaron is absolutely fantastic!!! I didn't know what to expect but he went waaaay beyond what I could've imagined in quality in every area, making my party an absolute success! ! Words cannot even come close to describing how incredible of a DJ AND human Aaron is. Not only is he a talented spin master, he is an incredibly genuine human. My husband and I got married at Nestldown on 9/9/22 and it was the most epic night of our life because of Aaron. He literally mixed songs in real time, was the MC to make sure our wedding party and guests were on track and knew when to go to cocktail/dancing/dessert. He also put together a montage of content from our life together that was displayed in the barn and customized our first dance song. Music was very important to my husband and me on our wedding day since our taste in music is very important to our relationship. It was by a stroke of luck that we were recommended to AVL entertainment. Aaron is not just a wedding DJ, he is a DJ. He guided us through the music selection process and even encouraged us to think of the music we played at our wedding as another way for our guests to get to know us. The music selection process is as hands-on as you'd like it to be but after a couple of conversations Aaron had a pretty good grasp on what we liked, didn't like, and what we would like the experience to be for our guests. As someone who listens to a lot of DJ sets, Aaron's mixing ability is pretty phenomenal. Aaron has a great sense of flow and recommended a layout for our reception that made everyone feel included in the music and dancing. We also purchased an additional lighting package that really made the dancefloor pop. (and we would 100% use him for any other event we threw as well! )He did an incredible job working with us to make sure that he understood the tone we wanted for each part of our event, and read the room to see what was working and what wasn't.
