This was the least professional "medical" experience I have ever had. 1. When they emailed me the intake forms, someone else's personal information was partially filled in! 2. When I emailed the filled forms back to them they couldn't read them, and when I asked to fill them out in person they informed me I had a Zoom appointment. Surprise! I asked for an in-person appointment and they said no problem, I could come in a few days later. Great. 3. When I arrived the office was totally empty. I let myself in and wandered around until I found a bathroom. When I emerged someone intercepted me and asked for my COVID test. Uh? No one told me a COVID test was required. (Also I've been in many hospitals and clinics throughout the pandemic and outside of surgical procedures this is not the norm). They offered an in-office COVID test for an additional $60, or they could set me up on Zoom in a treatment room and Dr Bell would Zoom from a few feet away. Disappointing, but fine. 4. The woman who did my medical intake was possibly not trained in doing medical intakes. At one point she asked "So do you have any health history?" (I am 37 years old, I have quite a bit of health history), and recorded a procedure incorrectly as a tubal ligation--I have never had a tubal ligation. She also had a medical student from Angola drop in on our call without my consent, which was fine but I really think you should ask the patient's consent before involving a stranger when reviewing personal health information. 5. After all this there is still no sign of Dr Bell. I wait in the empty office. Someone tells me she's on a call (this is probably 40 minutes after my 3:30p appointment). When Dr Bell finally gets on the call, she is condescending and unhelpful. I'm a licensed acupuncturist with 20 years of experience in sports medicine; I have diagnosed myself with a medial meniscus tear and explained why that was my hypothesis. Dr Bell told me she should give me a Doctor Google award (ouch), and that she would not be able to treat me without an MRI. My MD had referred me to PT saying it made sense to do 4-6 week of PT BEFORE getting an MRI. I asked for any exercises that would help in the meantime and Dr Bell told me to do wall squats. $65 copay (which, by the way, is $30 more than UCSF PT is charging me) to hear I need to do wall squats. 6. Then Dr Bell noticed no one had taken my BP, and instructed her "medical assistant" to suit up and get a reading. This was about a week before the mask mandate was lifted. The assistant came in basically wearing a hazmat suit: face shield, gloves, gown. To take my BP. When I had no symptoms. They didn't even take my temperature. I'm all for precautions but this was ridiculous and at my expense (time, money, and lack of appropriate medical care). Maybe Dr Bell is very educated but her office policies, communication, and staff need a major overhaul. More...

Dr. Bell FOR THE WIN!!! She is everything I could have possibly asked for in a doctor. I am a professional dancer who was in San Francisco with a touring Broadway show. I had been having severe pain in my lower back for over a month. After weeks of Workers Comp delays and no one giving me any answers, Dr. Bell came in and saved the day. She ordered me an MRI right away and got the ball rolling on quick, hands on treatment the next day. She is hilarious and kind, but a total go-getter and advocate on behalf of her patients. She even supported me by coming to my performance! And I continue to receive advice and recommendations from her even though I am no longer in town. Dr. Bell is the real deal. She listens to you and clearly explains everything that's going on. No need to look anywhere else! More...

Dr. Bell is an amazing doctor! I had an internship here and learned so much. She allowed us to have to have a hands on experience and interact with patients via zoom due to COVID. Dr. Bell is a very knowledgeable doctor and I can not wait to learn more from her! I highly recommend! More...
