Atlanta's House of Henna

I stopped by Atlanta's House of Henna as part of my birthday celebration with a group of friends. I did reserve this time prior to arriving. I've always wanted to try henna and this place was amazing! Our artists were Jasmine and Monica (owner). Jasmine did an awesome job teaching us about henna and henna care. We all had the opportunity to choose designs. You can also bring in design ideas and modify designs. The prices were very reasonable. Both artists were quick and did beautiful work. I'm so glad I booked this time for my bday crew. We were able to sip on wine, listen to music, and enjoy ourselves. Parking - There is free parking located on the side of the building. It's between the building and the Mexican restaurant. I am definitely coming back! My henna has been on for about a little over a week and it still looks pretty dark. Had my first Henna experience at Atlanta's House of Henna. Booking was a breeze. I received confirmation and an appointment reminder. The location was easy to find and they have parking available which is great considering how parking can be at Little 5. Meg did my Jagua black stain. She's so good, plus quick, cool, and personable. I ALWAYS love my experience coming here. Megan my henna artist is a true talent!!! I was able to give her an idea concept and she totally ran with it to create something gorgeous and original for my birthday #negativespacechallenge! ! The vibe is always cool and I was in and out in no time. The products they use are high quality and smell divine. I am a chocolate woman and my jagua stain will easily last me about 2- 21/2 weeks. I highly recommend this shop for a Jagua or Henna tattoo!  I got a Jagua tattoo from Jasmine in the shop (looked great and lasted about two weeks) and had so much fun with it, we had Monica come to a small party I had at my house where 9 of us got Henna tattoos!  All the designs were beautiful, intricate, and unique.  Everyone had a blast!  Monica is extremely creative and professional--I really want to thank her for giving everyone such a fun experience! Made an appointment for 3:30, I did have to wait a little bit when I got there but I got exactly what I wanted by showing her a picture. This was $40 and took about 45 minutes. (The hanna pictures ia 4 days old and is starting to fade). Should last 5-13 days as a process. I suggest not over submerging ypur hand in water that day. More...

I enjoyed my experience here. Today was my first time here and I scheduled an appointment with Jasmine but Jasmine was out of town, so I got put with Megan. She was very sweet and professional. She worked quickly and when I showed her a picture of what to do, she did it better than the picture! Very inexpensive as well.
