When I get my meals to go, I expect to get the food I paid for. I get home only 1 of 2 soups is in the bag. The sandwich was wrong and we were the only people in the store. Just went to Woodstock store. We were literally in there with no one else at the register and only one other person in the restaurant. I noticed the male cashier had dirty nails but blew it off. Order a half sandwich and soup. My husband ordered a soup bread bowl to go. It took a while to get no problem so far. Got our food and brought it home. We were short a soup and my half sandwich was wrong. I called back and ask to speak to the manager. The male with the dirty nails say he is the manger. I tell him what happened and he says let me see if I rang it in right. Well I did so I’ll talk to them. I am blown away that we could be the only people there and I didn’t get my soup and my half sandwich was wrong. I didn’t even wait for any other conversation. Everyone knows that airport food is generally trash but sometimes you just have to roll the dice and hope for the best. I placed a modest order that ended up costing about $20 for a sandwich and a side of chili. After waiting a bit, they called my name and handed me a sandwich. The wrong one, of course, and no chili. Presenting my recipe and the contents of the bag to the staff, I asked them to give me what I ordered. Instead, they mumbled while ignoring me. I realized that they only way to get relief for the situation would end in a conversation with airport security, I took my sandwich. Biting into it, I quickly realized it was inedible. I threw the sandwich away along with any hope of getting my money back. Stopped in at Gainesville location where I have been a customer for five years. They had a Gainesville Times newspaper beside the register and I decided to buy and they said it was 2. 00. I pointed out that the price on the paper stated 1.00. I was told the computer would only ring up as 2.00 and when I complained and declined to buy they were laughing when I turned my back and walked away. Very poor business practice. Dunwoody location. I have not eaten at Atlanta Bread Company in a long time, so today I ordered half butternut squash soup, which was not as good as it used to be but I would say fair. Half balsamic blue salad with grilled chicken. The salad was awful. First, the grilled chicken, apple and greens had to be cut up to be able to toss the salad. The lettuce was sad looking and to top it off there were no blue cheese crumbles. They charged me $1.00 more for the soup and $1.00 more for the salad, so my soup and salad was a $13.00 lunch and not worth half that. Amazing establishment in every way. A very modern, family friendly & work friendly environment to eat. The atmosphere is very casual, the music is always at just the right volume, and the food goes without saying! !! Greatest grilled cheese sandwich, muffin tops, and soups you’ll find in Aurora! Today I took my daughter to the Atlanta bread Company at the Avenue in Peachtree City, Georgia. She ordered a chocolate chip muffin and I asked the lady behind the counter if the muffin had nuts in it (twice). She assured me that it did not. My daughter took two bites out of the muffin and realized that it did have nuts in it. She is highly allergic to nuts. I’ve tried to contact corporate about making this matter known and no one has taken my call or returned a message of mine. I’m very upset over their lack of concern. I'm reviewing a particular item new to or Atlanta Bread Company. It's an egg white spinach tortilla wrap at $4.29. If you're hungry, on a budget, or can't handle disappointment, don't order it. I won't order it again for all of these reasons. I was astounded when the server put the plate on the table. It was on one of the long boat-shaped plates, which makes it worse. It's about 5" x 4" x 3/4" at best. They didn't even try to garnish it with a pickle. We have many good local restaurants and regional chains in our city. The Atlanta Bread Company used to be competitive in terms of quality. They're falling behind. I find that I'm going more often to local places for meals. Heck, IHOP has the same thing with equal quality and pancakes too. I think that the Atlanta Bread Company ought to go back to the basics that built the their business and their customer loyalty.
