My husband and I stayed at Rader Manor one weekend this past October. We stayed in the Presidential Suite! I loved this room. The bed was so comfortable. I slept so soundly. During our stay, my husband and I relaxed in our room, hung out on the front porch, visited with Wayne, Susan, and Hamilton the dog! What a great dog! We also enjoyed visiting with other people staying in the Rader Manor. Very relaxing. The place is breathtaking. I so enjoyed the history lesson of the Rader Manor from Wayne and Susan. Susan's breakfasts were so wonderful. I loved the blueberry coffee cake!!! I would like to visit again! Thanks so much Wayne and Susan for making us feel at home! More...

My husband and I just spent the weekend at Rader Manor, celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary! I could not have asked for a more beautiful and elegant place to stay. I am such a lover of European art and craftsmanship, and a true Downton Abbey fan. Therefore, this place did not disappoint. The price is fantastic for everything that comes with it. The rooms are magnificent with touches of home. The owners are fabulous, so welcoming and they make you feel like their home is your home. They even had limo service where the owner took us to and from the restaurant we ate at. Breakfast was perfect. Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pastries, fruit, coffees and juices. Everything made by the owners in their kitchen. I even have food allergies and they made everything so I could eat without being scared of an allergic reaction. We are so pleased and can not wait to return!!!! More...

This beautiful manor house in downtown Springfield is being beautifully restored with period antiques and comfortable, modern amenities. Wayne and Susan Rader are gracious and friendly hosts. Susan made a delicious breakfast and answered our questions about local sites and experiences. The history of this manor is fascinating and the building is still evolving, as time changes with the needs and uses of its current residences. We enjoyed our visit at Rader Manor very much! More...

The owners were so incredibly helpful in planning every special detail in surprising my wife with the treat of the year. They went well above what I expected! The Manor is tastefully decorated with incredible pieces from all around the world. The atmosphere was quite elegant and fit the nature of the mansion. Our room was very clean and comfortable with an excellent bed. Breakfast was just perfect as well! Ask for the scrambled eggs and french toast.
