We ate dinner on a Sunday and we were seated close to the overlook with a great view! Amber was our server and she was on point. Food was out of this world and I made her help me pick between 2 pasta choices and may I add the chicken parm was out of this world! My compliments to the chef. Exquisitely divine! From the Lobster Crab Cakes, the lovely libations, the salads we prefer with a great varied base & fruits, seeds & real cheeses. Oh then we had deliciousness as an entree. Mine the filet ~ perfection. Hubs had veal parmigian . A seldom ordered favourite. And deciding on impulse at order placement to add one of those yummy looking salad for tomorrow! Opted to definitely bring tiramisu home. Based on the dinner I just thoroughly enjoyed for the first time in a long time...I already anticdessert being an epic event. Our server, Constance M did a fantastic job serving, 15 of us this evening. We had no complaints against Constance. However, 4 meals weren't up to standard. The manager did good PR & took care of the 4 of us. We certainly hope Constance had no repercussions from management about our complaint, she was a server, not a cook. Everything was settled in a fashionably manor & we shall return. Just not sure I'd order the same meal, considering this was my 3rd time ordering, Veal this summer. More...

Another reviewer mentioned that "the food is good, but not as good as the prices suggest". That's right on the money. Literally. It's a good restaurant, and the scenery is the best available in Johnstown. In fact the scenery is one of the best on Western Pennsylvania. The staff was excellent, portion size good, and repeat trips are worthwhile. I suspect that it isn't cheap to operate where they are, and Johnstown spending decades as a distressed city and taxing the life out of businesses in the area probably plays into it. Or just chalk it up as paying for the scenery. Get a table by one of the many windows in that case and enjoy! More...

The location is the prime location in the city. You get world class views of Johnstown at the top of the famous Inclined Plane. Park at the bottom and take the Inclined Plane to the top for the best experience. The waitstaff was wonderful during our visit and the food prices were very reasonable considering the location and the spectacular views. The food itself was very good.
