Amazing, wonderful, delicious, outstanding! Even my husband , who's a big meat eater, enjoyed all of it! The only downside was the rap music.

Fantastic food. Amazing dishes and portion sizes. Pricing very reasonable for such high quality food. Lovely atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Everything about it was unique and wonderful. The ONLY reason I give it a 4 is because it was so loud I felt like my girlfriend and I had trouble carrying on a conversation over the noise. Still highly recommend and will definitely go back!! Ash'Kara has delicious food, mainly small plates to share. We had 4 small plates: hummus topped with shishito peppers, muhamarra (2 of these), octopus. Everything was quite delicious, especially the made in house pita bread. Our server (sorry, don't remember his name) was great -- friendly, helpful, efficient. Three of us for dinner, with one beer, two wines and one cocktail was about $95. That's one of the challenges & surprises of "small plates" -- you don't realize how quickly it's adding up. This restaurant was FABULOUS. I loved the overall vibe. It was very chill and fun at the same time. The food was beyond delicious. I defintely recommend many of the dishes that I had. The carrots and the Octopus were the best along with the inhouse made Pita (it is worth eating the carbs)! I had a wonderful tequila drink there as well. Service was slow the Sunday evening we were there. Small plates are good, but even the heartier servings (half chicken entrée) were small. Sangria was a poor mix of over-diluted wine. House red was harsh tasting. There was an energetic buzz in the house when tables were full making conversations difficult.We'd return to try some of the other dishes at this novel restaurant. Amazing food and great vegetarian selections! The services was not great as we made the reservations way in advance for our big Anniversary and the table was awful and right by the window so it was cold. Was told it was full with other reservations and that was the only options. Was upset given we had requested a good table!Plus the server really was not attentive ( I think since we didn’t order drinks). Terrible busing as plates were not taken away after each small plate and never taken away so it looked like we were eating at a buffet. Finally, server was not paying any attention and after we finish eating all the other plates (served at the same time) was told the last plate was coming in 10 minutes. The food was incredible, reasonably priced, the female host was super nice and when we left did acknowledge our anniversary. The server was polite but really made us feel we were not important enough to provide great customer service and make sure we were given good service like all the other tables. Nor acknowledged our special anniversary. We will go back and next time hopefully get better service as amazing food and the males and female host (blonde- Maybe she’s the manager) were the ones at the end of the night made us feel appreciated and special. Delicious evening at Ash’Kara, where the pita bread comes straight from a wood-fired oven. Four thousand years ago, early Israelite women used the same baking techniques at their tannurs, shaped from coils of clay and smoothed by hand into domes with their tops open to the stars!

We loved the ambiance and vibe. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered hummus (no topping), snack mix, lamb, falafel, mahumarra and octopus. The first four dishes were great and the pita was fluffy and steaming fresh. The octopus was underwhelming as was the mahumarra. Our server was receptive to our feedback and only then mentioned that the two dishes we didn’t like often get mixed reviews so she recommended the carrots or cauliflower in the future. I love Ash'Kara's dining area, the decor is beautiful. During our visit it was relatively quiet even though it was pretty much packed, I highly recommend making a reservation just in case. I'm looking forward to going back to try out more of the small dishes. The spanish octopus was among my favorite dishes. It was really easy for the restaurant to accommodate our gluten & dairy restrictions without sacrificing how flavorful and fulfilling each dish was. My fiancee and I ordered 4 small plates and 2 appetizers, which satisfied both our hunger. We also ordered 2 cocktails each...oh my God, the cocktails. So refreshing. The Ash'Kara Old Fashioned is among the best tasting variations of this cocktail in my opinion.
