My daughter and I went to Kimberly to get our haircut and we absolutely loved her! We both had very processed and damaged hair that needed help, and she was excellent. She walked us through each product and gave us styling tips for our new cuts. She was very receptive to what we were asking for and did an excellent job on our cuts and really took her time to make us feel comfortable and to make our haircuts something we loved. What an amazing find! Stopped in here to buy Oribe products and ended up finding an incredible master stylist! Had a KeraSilk treatment by Gary. My hair is now so soft, silky and sleek. I found Shelly at Ashes and Steel in recent months and absolutely love her work! She is kind, patient, and oh so talented! I always book with Shelly; she is incredibly intuitive, and has a natural talent for helping clients choose the right cut and color. Also, she is delightful to chat with while she works. I am naturally a light blonde, but I always like to get highlights, and I was about to give up on finding someone who can actually handle naturally light blonde hair - and then I met Shelly!Shelly did such an amazing job, that I also recommended my mother to her, and my mom received the best haircut and color of her life. Shelly gave me the best hair color and cut that I have received in years! I highly recommend Ashes & Steel and Shelly. I live 2 hours away, but I am happy to make the drive when she does such a good job. She is so sweet, professional, and talented. I was highly impressed with the quality of her work, and the salon as a whole. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. I have darker hair with lots of grays, and despite not giving her much to work with for my "vision," she was able to use put together the perfect color highlights. I am so pleased, and I just love the cut. My hair looks great, and the light/blondish highlights are perfect. Sarah Cox was delightful. She listened to me!!! and came up with a plan to shape my hair for maximum natural waves over the next year as it grows out and she reshapes it again and again. Abigail was the most incredible stylist I have ever had. I came in like a tired mama with too much humidity in her hair and I left with not a single person knowing I ever had gray or frizzy curly hair. I love the color and the cut. This salon is absolutely stunning and Tiffany is a flat out boss. I’ve never had anyone do my hair that can literally do it all. ..cut, color, blowouts and updos. After doing nothing but highlights for over 14 years I was wanting to do something different. I have seen both Tiffany and Gary at Ashes and Steel, and I always leave feeling and looking amazing! The studio is classy and comfortable, the music is hip, and the staff is always cheerful and present. I get balayage on long hair. Gary expertly brought my hair back to life after it had been overprocessed and now it is healthy and natural looking again. He knew just how to cut and color while I was 'healing' my hair so that it looked soft and strong, even when it was dry and weak.I recently saw Tiffany for color and blowout, and I am so happy with her skills at balayage and styling. I scheduled with her just before a company event that lasted 3 days in the August heat and my hair looked perfect through the whole thing. Tiffany at ashes and steel is my hair hero. I’ve grown my hair out for well over 3 years. I met her a few days before my appointment and told her I was sick of my long hair.
