I was referred to John by a friend, and I have had such a good experience I ended up referring others to him as well. He is personable and easy to talk to which helps pass the time, while he also motivates you to give 100% effort into your workout. He always answers any questions I have about what we are doing and why, and focuses on keeping good form. Very flexible with scheduling which is much appreciated when life happens! Personal Trainers

From day 1 John has been very easy to work with. Most trainers that I either know or have worked with can be a little pushy when it comes to results. John is the type of trainer that will work with you to get the results YOU want. Not what’s trendy, or what they think will look best. While he listens, he also pushes. I started off hating leg day. John has been wonderful to work with & I would recommend him to anyone I know - whether you're wanting to start from the beginning, get back into fitness after some time off, or you've already got practiced skills & strength, John works with you where you are. I've always been athletic, but since Covid hit, I have been super stationary. When I started working with John, I was really frustrated by how "far behind" I was to where I wanted to be, but John's positive attitude was really encouraging and kept me going. He made accommodations to our workouts so I could practice the movements and start building my strength back up. I've seen and felt so much progress since we started. Now I look forward to adding more weight and meeting new challenges, with John's encouragement and supportive pushing.

John is really knowledgeable; he's always explaining why certain movements are beneficial, ways of improving your technique to be safer and make more progress, and ways to avoid doing things. I feel like the way he explains things make a lot of sense & because of that, I've made even more progress than I would have made with someone else. Plus, he has helped me better understand how to improve my nutrition, which has helped me start to meet my overall fitness goals.

I also want to add that I've always been incredibly intimidated by the idea of going to a personal trainer & having all that attention on me while working out, and I also imagined feeling even more uncomfortable having a man as a personal trainer; training sessions with John feel really comfortable though. He is respectful of your personal space, while still managing to offer clear feedback on improvements, which has been a huge comfort as a woman in a gym (which can sometimes not be a safe space).

Last point - John is a really nice guy & worth knowing! He's easy to talk to, and the hour-long sessions pass by very quickly - which is nice bonus, when going to the gym could be really miserable for many!

John listens to your needs very closely. He tweaks the routine early and often to make it work for you. He is always looking out for ways to give you the best result - he is very friendly but you have to put in the effort to get the maximum out of his training. I will strongly recommend him for personal training needs - especially if you are a working professional who spends a lot of time sitting down or exerting pressure on the same set of muscles all day. When I started with John a year ago, I had pre-existing injuries I sustained from sports and incorrect training. He has since taught me a plethora about correct body mechanics that have reversed the pain from my older injuries.
