What a life saver George was!!! My family showed up to surprise me for the Christmas Holidays.  Needless to say, I got a little side tracked and forgot to pick up our gifts we had made.  George was willing to stay around for an extra ten minutes so I could pick them up!  True Christmas Spirit!! Thank you for providing such excellent customer service!! More...

Taylor and Andrew are the kindest, most patient and helpful people ever. Taylor made this experience fun, even with an impatient 8 year old and a cranky and teething 9 month old. Our product turned out amazing and I couldn't be happier. They are so nice and helpful here that we would definitely make the 2 hour drive to do it all over again. Thank you both so much! More...

We just got done celebrating my daughters 11th birthday here and we had such a blast. Annabel was our host and she was FANTASTIC! ! She was so friendly and so great with the kids! They all adored her, What a great asset to your team! We go there periodically for fun but this was our first party here and we definitely will do it again because it was just so easy for us (parents) all we had to do was bring the snacks, drinks and cake! Thank you so much Annabel! More...

For my birthday my husband brought me to Arts on Fire. I could not have been more excited. I haven't been to a place like this since I was little, so I wasn't sure what to expect. When looking around we felt like there were a ton of different things that we could have painted, but the price was a little more than we wanted to spend in many cases. We ended up choosing some pine tree plates. When we sat down the girl working came by to make sure that we knew what to do and helped us through the entire process. It was really helpful to hear from her before we started. The entire time that we were sitting there, which was an embarrassing amount of time, we kept noticing how great the music they played was. We were laughing and singing the whole time, even though our plates did not end up how we had hoped .Overall, I had a great time but gave Arts on Fire 4/5 just because of the cost of the ceramics. Nice place with a set fee and no "add-ons" so you know what you're paying. Still spendy. The staff didn't offer smocks - we had to ask, even for my 7 year old. The girl working ran through the instructions super fast and I had to re-explain and clarify some things. Clean and lots of options although sold out of many items. More...

This is a nice way to spend time with family! This location is clean, organized, and lots of good options. I never feel rushed. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is the price range. I wish there were more options for $10 or less to paint. With a large family it adds up fast. More...

My twin sister and I came here a week ago looking for a fun way to spend a few hours, and we weren't disappointed! They don't charge a studio fee, and their pottery prices are fairly reasonable. They have some unique pieces as well as the standard paint-your-own pottery shop pieces. The atmosphere was fun and we had a great time! Definitely worth a visit. More...

Art on fire was the perfect thing for us to do during a lazy day this week. We walked in and we're immediately greeted by George, the most helpful painting dude ever. He instructed us what types of paints to use and how many coats we needed and was always available when we had questions. We started trying to figure out what we wanted to paint. This took forever since we're indecisive and they have a lot of great options. We painted for about two hours and it was so relaxing and just a great environment all around. As we left, George told us that our pieces would be ready in just a week! He also informed us that Art on Fire, unlike many other pottery painting places, does not have a studio fee. Therefore if you wanted to come back and keep painting, there would be no extra charge! Awesome. Very glad I got to go to Art on Fire while visiting Denver. We will be back! More...

A friend and I hosted some of our clients at Arts On Fire for a marketing event. We had a blast! I really like that everyone got to pick an item they wanted to create instead of being forced to do all the same thing. George was a huge help and was readily available without being overbearing. We spent a little over 2 hours creating some beautiful pieces. I can't wait to pick them up in a week and see the finished product. The studio is clean, the music was great and the atmosphere was so nice and relaxing. I am looking forward to another event here. More...

Arts On Fire is a great name for them. They are hot hot hot! I've been to a handful of places like this and nothing compares to the unique options on projects and design tools. They have really interesting glazes here. Ask about the special paints with chunks that explode during the firing process to create spectacular patterns. I mixed two of them. They also offer the speckle glaze that most places have as well as the standard paint colors. The friendly staff will help make thicker paint to use with the silkscreens. Add the glass fusing and canvas painting options and it's a really well-rounded creative gathering place. I'm a fan! My only wish is that they served wine :) More...

My kids love Arts on Fire. It's a great way for them just to be creative. When you walk in the staff can help you with the process. They have hundreds of plain pottery items from trinkets to coffee mugs, vases, dishes etc. Prices range from $15-$40 on the average. Price includes the paint and the burn. Once you pick out your item, you can start painting. They have a wall of colors to view so you can see what they'll look like after the kiln. They have dozens of colors to choose from. After 3 light coats and writing your name on the piece, pay for your item and it's usually ready in a week. This place is great for birthday parties too. More...

Had a great time last week at Arts on Fire. The space is well-kept and organized. We were able to find a seat right away and never felt rushed--a very fun and relaxing environment. The pieces were a bit pricey (more so than other places like this in the area)...yet there's no studio fee so that's what you get and it all comes out in the wash to be about the same price as anywhere else. The pottery ranges from $16 (small animal figurines) to $40+. There are a couple of teeny tiny trinkets you can paint for $5. Would be careful about taking any small ones (or clumsy bigger kids at heart/adults) as there is a sign that says you must pay 50% of the cost of any pottery that you break. There's a lot of other shops/restaurants in this parking lot, so it's a good one-stop-shopping for a night of fun. More...

It was a really fun experience! There are tons of options to paint (anything from statues to cups). I painted a coffee mug which was $25. The prices range from $5-$70 depending on what you want to paint. The majority of the pieces were $25-$40. It's really laid back, so basically you can do what you want. It is very time consuming, so be ready to paint for a couple hours. The employees were very helpful, and knew how to answer all of our questions. More...

Love that we have a place like this in Castle Rock now. Great for taking the kiddos as well as having a girls night out. I took my 5 and 2 year old here to make Christmas ornaments. The price of the pottery includes the studio paint so there is no separate studio fee. The ornaments my kiddos chose were $10 each so we walked out paying $21 for the two. Takes 7 days after you paint to pick up your pieces. Zack was very friendly an helpful. He did a great job explaining the process I just wished he mentioned the other materials you could use with the paint: sponges, stamps, etc as I did not see them till after the kiddos already started painting. Next time ;) More...

Fun place to do some arts and crafts. I chose to paint a dish in the shape of a cupcake. You choose what you want to paint and pay for that piece only. Reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and helpful. After you paint, they fire and glaze your piece and you can pick up your finished piece in a week. They have classes/workshops that sound great! I will definitely try one out. They don't sell alcoholic drinks like some other crafts places do, which I don't mind. However I overheard that you can bring your own bottle of wine as long as you open, pour, and cork it yourselves. Neat! (I would of course call and make sure before taking my word for it). More...
