I recently switched from my primary care medical doctor to explore the offerings at Urban Wellness after deciding to take a more holistic approach to my health care. The experience has been nothing less than positive. I just started with hyperbaric oxygen treatments, as I have been reading a lot of literature lately on the benefits. The staff at Urban Wellness are amazing. Dr. Zurek is amazing in his work as a chiropractor, but he also has a great bed side manner. He is always friendly and focused on my individual care. He is able to focus on not only the main areas that are painful but even the areas that are bothersome. Dr.Zabell is also amazing he VERY knowledgeable about the process of healing from a Car accident. at my first appointment he was able to answer every question I had and put together a plan of care that has since made all of the pain I had from my accident become more tolerable. not only has he been amazing with the care I have received from my accident but when I encounter a set back due to some other medical issues he was able to educate me on some herbal medicines that actually cured what I was going thru and prevented me from having to go thru a surgery. Eric Beggs LMT has also been amazing he is very therapeutic in his massage. He not your average "feel good" massage therapist but he very knowledgeable about pressure points and soft tissue damage. He also has a super pleasant bed side manner. Even their front desk staff is amazing. I have only really dealt with Shauna but she is really a Great addition to the wonder staff at urban wellness. She is not only friendly always greeting me with a smile but she is amazing at scheduling my appointments to times that will work with my schedule but with multiple providers. When I show up early she always tries to work the schedule so I have less waiting time. also even though she see lots of people everyday she always remembers who I am. she greets me by name every time I come in. I was in so much pain as a result from my car accident and none of my regular doctors were able to help but the staff at urban wellness has me feeling so much better and they have made this process such a positive experience I would recommended this place to anyone experiencing any kind of pain they take a completely different approach to patient care but It totally works. They are wonderful here! I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle and was not going anywhere in my recovery, and i saw their commercial on television. I thought what could it hurt to try and see if they could help. It was near impossible to find any place that would accept third party liability. The lovely people that work here accepted me as a patient. Now in the 3 months I have been seen here, I am excited to say that I am nearly back to 100%. I usually do not do reviews. However, Urban Wellness is an exceptional health and wellness clinic that does deserve praise. Dr. Jason Zabell and Dr. Andrew Zurek helped treat and heal our family's back and whiplash related issues from a severe car accident. More recently and even more serious, Dr Dave Allderdice has been incredible in helping me navigate the treatments of stage 4 colon cancer. Dr. Dave is one of the most incredible healers I have met and he has really helped me kick cancer backwards. He has worked collaboratively with my chemotherapy and as of right now, I am disease-free.
