Everything that I have purchased has been fabulous. When I bring things to my friends or families they all love every morsel left them wanting more! My favorite items are the raspberry cheese coffee cakes, just about all the cupcake and the Éclairs. Whoa, I don’t even care of éclairs but those were phenomenal. I used Artesa Baking for my bridal shower, bachelorette party and wedding. Martha, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful with picking out the perfect cake and desserts for my events. My bachelorette was in Nashville, and they made the cutest cowboy boot cookies. I had a two tier cake and sweets table at my wedding. When my husband and I cut our cake to taste it, it was delicious!! We kept wanting to have more!! The sweets table was a huge hit at our wedding. Stopped in on the way home from my daughter's new home in Homer Glen just to see what kind of bakery inside. Was a bit disappointed that it was mostly shelves with nicknacks and not bakery. I did purchase 6 cupcakes and was very pleasantly surprised with how delicious they were! I would rate them right up there, even with Molly's cupcakes! (which in my opinion were the best) So now, I can no longer say Molly's are the best.... Artesia, you are now the first place I will go to for cupcakes! Thank you! More...

I went to my venue to do a preview setup of my tables. When I got there they had informed me they just added a new vendor for the wedding cakes. I called right after to see if I could come in for a cake tasting, and she scheduled me in for the next hour (which was amazing). I got there, and I had 6 people with me. They asked how many would be tasting with me, and I asked how many was allowed, she responded however many you want lol. My family was happy. We sat down, and they allowed us to taste the cakes and the fillings. When I say amazing, I mean amazing. Thing is I'm not even a cake person so I really did not care about the cake. Martha baked the cake for our May 6th wedding. We met with Martha several months before our wedding, and she gave us a thorough taste testing. All of their cake and fillings are amazing, and you can't go wrong with any options! In the end, we could. It decide, and Martha was flexible with us- allowing us to do two flavors for just a small price addition. We had vanilla cake with chocolate and strawberries for one filling and cream cheese and lemon for the second filling. We had a 5 tier cake for 250 guests, so each tier alternated with those two filling options. The cake was fluffy and moist, and the buttercream outside so smooth and professionally done with our design choice. When we chose our cake, Martha explained how she uses real butter for the buttercream outside. I love that it is natural, and she mentioned that it can tend to be a bit yellow because of that. Honestly, while we weren't torn apart about not having a true white cake, the cake did turn out much more white than I was imagining. It was not yellow at all, I would say it was even more white than my ivory wedding dress. We purchased a gold wedding topper with our name on it, and Martha placed this perfectly. The cake was beautiful, and I couldn't have imagined any other cake. What a great, local business. I loved being able to do my cake tasting, and especially being that it was with owner Martha. This review is based on customer service and one little gluten free cupcake! I stopped in today to pick out a cake for an upcoming shower. Martha, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating in helping me pick out  the perfect cake. While I was sitting at the cute table with her, I spotted one lone chocolate gluten free cupcake behind the glass counter. I couldn't concentrate on picking out a cake because I just wanted that cupcake! Martha kindly obliged me:). The cake was amazing! We opted for a small cake and cupcakes and Artesa made it look absolutely amazing! The owner called me a few days prior to the wedding to confirm our order and how we wanted our cupcakes to be decorated. I love Macroons but I wish the prices where slightly more affordable. If they were I would frequent at least once a week instead of once a month. I always see it empty. Might be better for business overall to do this and push more product on customers instead of who knows goes to the baked goods once not sold on a few days to a week. More...

Highly Recommended bakery in Homer Glen! We ordered cookies for one of our treat days at school and Martha was very accommodating and great to work with! My wife and I just wanted a simple cake for the wedding for the cake cutting ceremony, and Martha came through big time. Not only did the two tier cake look beautiful, we had a day after brunch, and cut the rest up, and everyone loved the taste.
Very easy to deal with, and no hassle.

My daughter wanted a French Macaroon tower as her "wedding cake". Martha created the most delicious macaroons in so many wonderful flavors for us. My favorite thing there are the Columbian turnovers. They are filled with pineapple and bacon, sweet & savory. The only problem is that because of their uniqueness they aren't a huge seller so they don't always make them. the only way I can guarranty getting them is to order them ahead of time. A quaint atmosphere where you can sit and eat their wonderful baked goods . I came in for the gluten free items for my best friend . I met the baker who explained everything is baked fresh daily . The gluten free cookies were amazing ! The non gluten items were truly fresh and moist . I will be a regular patron . This is what Homer Glen has needed for a long time- a great bakery ! We celebrated the wedding at the beach and Marta costumized our wedding cake with edible sand and filled it with rainbow colors. It was perfect!
