That’s when we remembered that Art of Salad was right next door. I immediately recalled getting delicious salads from their East Brunswick location throughout my time in grad school at Rutgers and couldn’t wait for my salad to brighten the day. What’s your signature dish?
Most popular signature salads include Tex Mex w/ Chipotle Ranch, Autumn Harvest w/ Balsamic Vinaigrette & Mandarin Chicken (or Tofu) w/ Sesame Ginger. For sandwiches, the Turkey + Avocado BLT and Pesto Chicken Mozzarella Melt are must try!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We consider the customers budget and dietary concerns. We can easily make any meal or sharing platter either vegetarian or vegan. We can usually accommodate most requests. Our prices range from $10-$20 per guests.
What do you love most about your job?
The best part of my job is to see or hear from our customers after their catered event. Our average customer ratings are high and it feels great when a customer shows appreciation for our food and service.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our mission 10 years ago was to bring fresh craft food that is easy to find in a major city like New York to the suburbs at an affordable price. That's what we accomplished here at the Art of Salad.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our food is awesome and our prices are fair. We're a small family business who goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Food safety has always been a priority. I'm proud to say the local health inspector is a regular customer of ours!

We offer fresh chopped salads, craft sandwiches and much more for any professional event or meeting. Choose individual meals or pick a platter from our catering menu. Our menu is vegetarian and vegan friendly. Food is made from scratch and delicious!
