2 awesome short plays! Our first time at this theater, and loved the collaborative effort between Arena Players and the Baltimore Rock Opera Society. Determining Azimuth was especially fascinating, and we were impressed they were able to capture the story of Katherine Johnson (Hidden Figures, for those who have seen the movie) in a mere 30 minutes of song. Being a female mathematician myself, I find her story especially inspirational, and I think this performance did a wonderful job of capturing the era, and the wonder of her accomplishments. If they do this play again, please go see it! More...

I love the area players I have gone to performances since I was a young girl . my mom took me to the theater. The actors are so real . when I leave the shoes the performance stays with me. Its a small warm friendly theater. The acting is very good. I have seen some of them grown with their talent . the youth theater is out standing . I feel a sence of pride in this African theater. I feel a part of the show.I have laughed felt pain as Thy bring their performance to the stage. I simply love the area players . even the staff is very welcoming. More...

I love it it's an Historical Venue black own and doesn't get the required funding it should, many of our children attend Arena. Phyllis Hymen play etc was there Saturday for comedy show, we should support our black own business. How about if you know someone who is willing to fix the big hole in parking lot then do so. Each one teach one help one. More...
