Dinner:1 star for pricing. Â 4 and 1/2 stars for chicken Bulgogi. 3 and 1/2 stars for the pulled pork sandwich.Pricing 25 for Chicken Bulgogi for the amount and with only rice is overpriced. I can get Chicken Bulgogi for 18 that is just as good with vegetables and more meat with 4 small dishes of Korean specialty veggies. Food quality just as good.Pulled pork sandwich lots of fries- good. Amount of meat for 15 not good. Kids meal - 12 dollars for a kids meal?!?! Â Not a place to take the kids. Even tourist traps your not paying 12 for a kids meal. At Texas Steak house the kids can get a six ounce steak with drink and side for 9 bucks. You can get Southern Barbecue with more food for less at the same quality in this area. Korean food. This is it. If you want it you have to pay for it or drive to Jacksonville. Would I come again- yes. Only if I'm craving Korean and I don't want to drive to Jax. For Southern BBQ - No. More...

Great to find a Restaurant that serves Southern and Korean BBQ. It's a hole in the wall looking place on the outside but when you walk in it's nicely put together. I tried the Korean Bento Box priced at $25. A kind of sampler of all different styles of Korean. It's rather pricey for the amount of food you get but everything was spot on authentic Korean cooking at its best. 4 stars for the price. We also sampled the Red Neck Egg Rolls, It wasn't what I was thinking it was going to be but what a joyful surprise. Pork bbq flavor inside with a fusion of mixed vegetables in a fried crunchy shell. Sweet and savory dipping sauce. I will definitely be back to try the regular Southern BBQ. More...

Wow! This place is GOOD! Dumplings/short ribs were amazing. I'm not a fan of kimchi but Area 51 has made me a believer!

This place has a high rating for a reason! EXCELLENT food!!! I'm not super adventurous when it comes to food. I am super picky to the point it's an actual problem. LOL. But we decided to try this place and are so happy we did! It's a cute little place. It was a weeknight (Monday night?) and was kind of slow, so we were able to be seated right away on the patio. For the first hour or so we were the only ones outside, which was kind of nice. our waitress was great and gave suggestions and answered our questions, etc.. she was excited for us to try something and even said she'd make us something different if we didn't like it, which was so awesome. Well gladly we ended up loving her suggestion (bulgogi? i forgot how it's spelled) but it was DELICIOUS!! We both loved it, and would go back in a heartbeat. I think the marketing may be a little misleading - it looks like a normal BBQ place almost, but it's not, it's an Asian Fusion type of place. I heard people talking elsewhere that it may have gotten bought out recently thus a bit of menu change/older marketing still out there. They could work to clean-up /organize the back patio a bit. There's some unsightly junk out there that could be moved or put away. They could enhance the decor outside a bit, but hey we were just glad to sit outside. Highly recommend!! Not super fancy but the food is the gem here!! More...

Can't recommend this restaurant enough! The service was excellent and the food was even better! We dined on a Thursday evening and the chef was generous enough to allow us to do the tabletop grill. We had the beef bulgolgi. It was so flavorful! The broth that is cooked in was sweet, but not over powering. The Korean ribs were also really tasty. We also tried the Korean fried chicken wings, which did not disappoint! Finally, we tried the smoked brisket. Being from Texas, bbq can be really hit or miss. They thinly sliced the brisket, which made us skeptical, but it was delightfully delicious! Left us wanting more. Definitely worth it. Don't miss this gem! More...

These ribs were to die for. The meat just melts off the bone. I also enjoyed the coleslaw as it had a nice Korean kick. Tried a couple different sauces and enjoyed their sweet bbq the most.

Great variety of options to choose from between Korean bbq and traditional Bbq! Everything from the marinades, to the side dishes, and sauces are made in house. A lovely husband and wife own and operate the restaurant and are a delight! The bulgogi tabletop dish is delicious and can feed a crowd so it's great to share. They have wine and liquor options as well as a great outdoor seating area. Definitely stop by! More...

This was a fantastic meal! We went with the Korean side of the menu, though the Southern BBQ also looks great. We were not disappointed! Flavorful, fresh, touch of heat but not overwhelming... Paired with a refreshing rice wine (makgeolli) on a shaded patio, perfect for a warm day. And incredible service. What a gem. We will most definitely be back! More...

Wow. Â Where did this place come from, and how have I missed it for so many years. Â Came here thinking it was another BBQ joint. Â Well was I surprised to find a Korean BBQ with some really good beef bulgogi my daughter's fav. Â My wife and I shared the dolsot set for 2, it was totally worth the price. Â The flavors were great and I love that crispy rice you get from the stone pot. Â We will be back again and again. More...

me and my family went here last night for my mother's day dinner. read reviews and checked some photos of their food. but it's safe to say it will be our first and last. the food are ok. kimchi is very watery and can't taste the flavor. Bulgogi was ok,there's more rice than the meat. my eldest brisket was dry. We've been to numerous Korean restaurants and this one is not "it" we also used to live in Korea so I know what I'm missing. the server are nice.place is not bad. More...

They offer an unusual combination of Southern barbecue and Korean barbecue and meals. Â The staff was very friendly and helpful explaining the menu and making suggestions. Â The fried dumplings are crispy and quite tasty. Â The Bimimbap dish with spicy pork is cooked and served on a stone platter which keeps the meal warm throughout dining and carmelizes the rice. Â It was excellent and more than you could eat in one sitting. Â The Kimchi Ramen with beef bulgogi is spicy and wonderful. Â The have very nice Kimchi sides for those that enjoy Kimchi. Â I did not try the Southern barbecue on this trip, but will try it next time! More...

It was our first time here since we wanted bulgogi and this is the only restuarant on Amelia Island that has Korean food. The bento box is huge and can be shared amongst 2 people . It's not cheap though: either $20 or $25 (don't remember) but it's a great way to try a little bit of everything. My favorite was the Korean chicken wings and the glass noodles. The beef bulgogi was better than the chicken but it wasn't the best bulgogi I had. It's not as tender or flavorful but it still hits the spot. Will be back. More...

Presentation was amazing and the tastes were even more amazing. We will be back for sure. The family next to us had Korean food and traditional smoked ribs and they loved it all. Just enjoyed the $10 lunch special for pulled pork. Pork included a generous amount of tasty, smokey outside meat. The Korean sauce was a delicate blend of sweet and spicey flavors that perfectly complemented the BBQ. Recommed you give it a try.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and I'm really upset that I didn't try it sooner! I had no idea that this was a Korean BBQ place serving American BBQ as well, they have an INCREDIBLE menu with authentic Korean food and great choices for American style BBQ dishes as well. The inside was super cute and it was so clean and organized which is always a plus! Â I really liked the variety of options on the menu, they don't just serve you food they give you a great experience to go along with it! I tried the Dolsot Stone-pot with sweet and spicy chicken and it was SIZZLING and so yummy! My fav thing about this dish is that the stone pot holds heat incredibly well and made the rice at the bottom perfectly crispy! It was SO delicious and filling! We also ordered the Dosirak Platter which was. Korean sampler platter! It contained dumplings, tempura shrimp, glass noodles, salad and your choice of bulgogi! It was well worth it and every bite was scrumptious! I highly, highly recommend you give this place a visit. Â It's such a unique place and I feel like more people should know about it bc it's THAT good! As a local, I have a decent range of delicious restaurants to chose from, but they're all somewhat in the same food category. I've just been craving something new and exciting for a while now and this place hits the spot!!!Follow my Instagram food blog for more Amelia Island restaurant reviews and food pictures like this! It was as delicious as it had been beautiful. Thomas was our server, very well informed and very helpful. Please go and enjoy their $12.99 specials that included BOGO glass of wine Mon thru Thurs 4-8pm. Their lunch specials $10. My Doisot Dupbap has enough for 2 and it was $20. It was actually 1 hour (60 minutes TO THE MINUTE) that I called back. And I was heading to pick up my order when my new order from a different place arrived for the rest of my party. Which didn't waste my time and were very courteous. So, seeing as the owner replied to my original review, obviously this is an ongoing issue if "other people have come to get their order" that you failed to deliver as told when people order. HORRIBLE!! More...

Advertised that they deliver to a local brewery "Mocama" so I called to place an order. The woman answered the phone and advised they were busy but the food would be delivered in approximately 30-45 minutes. I said that would be fine. Provided my phone number so they could call me/text me when the order was leaving to be delivered. 1 hour after I placed the order I had to call them back. I asked where my order was and when it would be delivered. The same lady who took my order advised that they had not even made my food and at this time could no longer deliver. I asked why a courtesy call could not have been placed back to me since they had my phone number. She said she agreed they should have called. But after waiting an hour and no courtesy call or anything I was very angry. Will not give them another chance as they did not try to make this right. Poor customer service. More...
