Traveling for work and hadn't been here in several years so I thought I'd try it again. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of our orders but I can say that their presentations are very pleasing. We had the mussels and fries as well as the shrimp for appetizers. The mussels were good but having had mussels in Brussels... well they were good for this part of the world. The shrimp were very tasty and I'd easily recommend them. My friend ordered the ribeye and I the stuffed salmon. He was kind enough to share a portion of his large steak and I'd say it was cooked accurately and measured up to steaks in other reputable steak houses. My salmon was enjoyable but the stuffing was a bit heavy on dill. We finished off with the house-made gelato and was truly the highlight of my meal. The Italian cherry (lucato?) was delicious as was the pistachio (just be prepared that the pistachio isn't green in color whatsoever... which was a plus for me). Overall, the food was good and the service excellent. Glad I decided to revisit! More...

Excellent . From the moment we drove up we were greeted with kindness. The employees were wonderful. The food was excellent. We had a reunion with over 25 people and we were never neglected. Our water glasses were always full and the drinks were quickly delivered. I highly recommend having dinner or parties there. We dined there with 10 other couples and so enjoyed our first dining experience at Ardovino's. We have heard about Ardovino's for years and it was better than we anticipated. There is plenty of parking and a fascinating place to explore outside. You will see Airstreams in the grounds which they are restoring for Airbnb rentals.There is even a small trailer that serves as the chicken coop. The food and service was very good. More...

Great atmosphere--pretty sure they last renovated this place in the 1950s, and it's awesome. It used to be a military base, then a speakeasy during Prohibition. A lot of history here. Service is excellent: they are extremely patient and accommodating of various food allergies. And finally, the food is some of the best in the El Paso area. I've eaten here about two dozen times, and enjoyed every meal. They do get busy, though, so reservations are often a good idea. It's never too noisy to have a conversation, though.
