Awesome place. Great music and people, fun college bar! Let my oxen friend in, almost had to kick him out when he was searching for construction hats in the corner but eventually let him stay. Had such a serene atmosphere that my short friend fell in love in the corner. Didn’t let my mono friend in, which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. I went there on a saturday afternoon and my boyfriend & i were the only one there but the atmosphere was amazing, our server gave us great reviews on drinks. Beautiful place inside out. Super clean and super friendly service. Felt like VIP customers since our group was only one of two in the restaurant. Which is unfortunate because it's such a high quality place with great food at very affordable prices. They even turned the ceiling chaser lights and music on for us .Came in around midnight and had a delicious Mediterranean feast with beer and liquor ending with awesome hookah. Waiter went out of his way to make sure we understood everything on the menu. Had the sampler platter- delicious baba and the stuffed grape leaves are the best around. Highly recommended. I ate at the bar when visiting the Arabesk Palace in South Bend on a Saturday. I had a wonderful experience, the restaurant is beautiful, very clean and very friendly people there. Prices are reasonable. The bartender's name was Jon Krzywicki , he was nice, friendly, excellent, service was timely and he made my drink perfectly! The Hummus is fantastic! I plan on going back. When we were there a blind customer came in, the gentleman working (who may have been the manager or owner) walked up to the customer, took his arm and led him to a table. THIS IS HUGE! many times people are extremely nervous, unsure & uncomfortable around people with disabilities & this in turn negatively impacts the service and care they receive. Exceptional service.
